Is ammo already taxed heavily? I know buying ammo for going to the gun range and shit is expensive as shit nowadays and a lot of gun nuts just make their own, kind of like how people roll their own cigs now.

Well to be fair owning alot of guns doesn't necessary make someone a gun nut necessarily. My grandfather kept a half dozen or so rifles in his house. However, this situation would never have happened in his home. All and I mean all of his guns are properly maintained, stored, and locked away his weapons. He would never allow them to be loaded inside of the house and he was very strict on how he handled the guns when they were outside of their case. Though he used and maintained them as a hunter, not because he was afraid of being robbed or that the government was out to get him. He was one of the most resposnible gun owners I've ever known.

The problem I have is for every one of him, there seems to be at least a dozen others that do the exact opposite.

But Kuya you forget the 2nd amendment says the 2nd amendment. And that means the 2nd amendment can do w/e the 2nd amendment wants even if the 2nd amendment didn't say 2nd amendment. It just means 2nd amendment is better than all those other non-2nd amendment issues. 2nd amendment.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — University of Oklahoma officials say there are reports of shots fired on campus and are telling everyone to stay where they are.

Local police say they have no independent confirmation of a shooting Wednesday but have sent up to a half-dozen officers to the campus, which is about 20 miles south of Oklahoma City.

The university posted a notice on its website Wednesday that people should avoid Gould Hall. A notice sent by its Twitter account said: "Seek immediate shelter in place."

Norman Police Capt. Tom Easley said five to six of the city's officers went sent to the school to assist campus officers. Medical teams and the fire department were placed on alert but Easley said "we have no confirmation of anything yet."
