I like the way the manga is going. Towns people are turning into "brainless" Titans whilst others through experiments are becoming the hybrid Titans. I'm willing to bet Reiner and company's purpose is to retrieve Eren and keep him safe as per someone's orders. And why the fuck do all religious fanatics know the damn answers to the WORLD'S PROBLEM but refuse to tell everyone.

Shingeki no Kyojin Ep1

This is a superb show, this is what I want from an action show. The concept, the scenario and the action are fucking beautiful. Stuff like this is why I watch anime. Simple storytelling, but oh such great execution, the animation was so fucking awesome as well. It pretty much packed style in every single frame. It excels in every area of the animated visual medium, not just the animation but the direction, color design, layouts, background art, and character designs. They take full advantage of the strengths of traditional animation.

Actually picked up the manga a few days ago and caught up on most of it. Just, god damn. I really hope they do right by it with the anime adaptation.

One thing I'm kind of confused about or I may have skipped around too much:

Not sure how that is obvious as we still have no idea of their origins. I'm more intrigued by Bigfoot titan the most.

Looking forward to this in general. As to the "heavy-handed" comment someone had, only real point I'd make of that was the scene with the old woman. The whole dramatic close-up with her hair flowing was more lulzy than saddening.
