I've been watching the junior high series and like it so far. Gonna watch the main anime very soon.

Well, no big deal. Main anime is good but the idea of the junior high series is to insert some happiness/comedy back into you once it gets sucked away in the main series.

The feelings/impact is reduced later on once you come to accept the Titans. But initially going into it blind it was a minor bit disturbing/weird. Look forward to your thoughts

It's a comedy where the high school has a part that's huge and dedicated to titans and the other part is normal sized for humans. The titans act more so like bullies at times and the personalities you know of the characters from the source material are exaggerated as they are put in various high school situations such as dating, sports, clubs etc.

Gdi, the wait this past month was excruciating. This wait until next year will be even worse. Can't wait until this fight is animated; it's going to be the best 3 episode fight yet.

The fight ended quickly though but I hope they can pad it out in animation, if they get that far (I estimate season 2 will end after the crowning)

So far, each episode has been pretty much one chapter of the manga. I don't think we'll see this fight until the end of season 3, maybe season 4. It was over pretty fast, but that's only because we don't see the movement of the fight, just the big punches or grabs. It'll be fleshed out a bit more obviously.

Ditto. These two are about as tragic as tragic villains get. They genuinely felt bad for the damage they caused and even tried obtaining their goal peacefully. That is until Mikasa fucked it all up. Now it seems they're being bullied in to fighting by the beast titan. Seeing Reiner die will no doubt drive Bertholt in to a rage and get him killed as well. Just hoping we learn more about their village and mission before they both kick the bucket.

Third'd. There's still the big picture that we're not seeing, that the rest of the shifters know about. But at the same time, Reiner had to be prepared for this kind of retribution once he forcibly took Eren. While I'll be pretty upset if that isn't the end of Reiner in one way or another, I hope we get a flashback or some kind of explaination for his actions before he kicks it.

You better be reading the manga. The anime is on hold until manga gets far enough that they can release timely seasons of the show and coincide the endings ala FMA.

A snippet/scene of Season 2 was released in some expo/festival not too long ago.

The last episode of Junior High should contain some sort of teaser, as it will end shortly which will nicely lead on to Season 2.

edit: fuck, I just realised Season 2 is not listed in the Winter season 2016 thread. what the hell!!! lol
