Florida is a team that had to throw a lot of money at players (see: Brian Campbell's contract) in order to make the salary floor. They got into the playoffs last season to the surprise of absolutely everyone, most of the wins they had were from OT/Shootout.

From what's been posted I got the impression their new acquisitions would make big improvements on the team that made it to the playoffs so my expectations were pretty high. Definitely seems like they aren't playing to their potential right now based on the opener and post-game stuff, my hope is just that their problems smooth out the more they play together and that it happens sooner than later. It really sucks to see Jose Theodore just getting shot on constantly.
