I blame this on Dale Hunter not being the coach. From what I've read based on yours and Bregor's rants, and not seeing first hand, but I get the feeling the team isn't responding to Adam Oates as the coach?

Late to reply, but way too early to tell. All the beat writers say that the guys in the locker room really like Oates. He's trying a lot of new things, especially moving Ovie from left to right wing, and it could take a while for the players to respond with results. I haven't seen a lack of effort on most of their goals allowed. Also their PK just fucking sucks right now. Also Brooks Laich being out hurts a bit in juggling the other lines.

Someone should check up on Bregor....
