To earlier posts, since I just got home. The first week in fantasy is always long because the season never starts on a Monday, so the first week is a few extra days.

Kashka, I also think Goalies are a bit OP in ESPN. We raised both Wins and Saves and it made for some serious ownage in goalies. Goalies still get good points even if they give up 5 goals, as long as they have some saves and win. I did pick up two solid goalies, neither of who have done amazing, but I was shocked at how much more powerful they became. A bigger penalty on goals allowed might be a good idea in the future.

and I too value ESPN more BK. I like the points system more then the categories. With stat categories, you can dominate a few areas but then have the others really close and still lose, which isn't as fair imo. It does mean you need a balanced team but points seems fairer imo. Until yesterday I was dominating Ishido in Goals, Hits and +/- but since all the other areas were really close it was a toss up. Of course, after yesterday and today, I'm now dominating in most of the areas, lol.

I had to work all evening so I missed the bulk of the game, BUT FUCK YES CERVENKA!!!!!!!! So happy, he looks pretty good and had a few good chances! Sooooooo excited once he really starts to get going. J-Bo played really well as well and Mikael Backlund finally being the player we thought we were drafting when we picked him. Once Iggy and Cammy start to get going, this team is gonna turn heads, BELIEVE IT!!!!

I was just pissed that for the last 40 minutes, the Oilers forgot that you need to shoot in order for a puck to end up in the net. 10 in the first - not bad, but only 8 in the final 2 periods is pretty fail. The only thing you could hope for is that Kipper was reading a book or had fallen asleep. lol

I'm watching the reply on CBC right now, Edmonton had a few huge chances but just couldn't connect. I feel like they're on the cusp of being a disgustingly frightening offensive dynamo, but they're just like a hair out of sync at the moment
