when is re-alignment? next year?

At the earliest, way too late to do anything this year. Next year might not happen either though, last I heard, the proposed offer presented had been shot down by the NHLPA. I don't think they ever decided what to do anyway so that might be an issue for this off season.

Boston without Timmy Thomas will be failure. Yes, I went full homer and picked my Caps and Nikky for EVERYTHING!! that matters.

Cowboys in the East is 100% because of rivalries and NEEDS to stay. Sports needs to keep some rivalries intact. NHL needs it pretty badly though.
