Things:
-Dion Phaneuf is underperforming again. Maybe take Kostka off his line now?

-Scrivens had moments of face-in-hand failure, but they were few and far between. He had an otherwise good night, but he wants that second goal back.

-Kessel is getting points, pucks, looks, and even back-checks admirably, but he can't score! What da FOOOOOOK

-Another strong game from JVR. I am less skeptical about the Schenn trade by the day, seeing as he'd be leading Philly in scoring with these stats.

-FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, ORR + MCLAREN IS TOO MUCH PLUG. What the hell is the purpose of this 4th line anyway? Because it's not hockey - Mike Brown can actually play the game, but the other two serve no purpose besides keeping the pressbox warm. When the 4th line hits the ice, they promptly lose the puck, get totally outskated, and get hemmed in our own zone. It's like saying, "Hey we're gonna spot you... four minutes in our zone tonight. Betcha can't score!"
