Tim thomas "traded" to the islanders.
No idea what this actually means, considering I thought he retired.
Bruins still have his contractual rights etc,so they can trade him (if a team is willing to accept)
Can't wait for tonights game. Will be nice to jump start the Leafs downward spiral for this season.

It's for a conditional 2nd in 2014 or 2015. Trade was made to keep the Islanders above the salary floor cap
Buffalo will win 4-1 tonight.
They will then lose 3 straight.
Penguins with 3 of the top 6 (Neal, Letang, Crosby) and 4 of the top 13 jerseys (Malkin) sold in January. Blackhawks only other team with 4 in the top 25, but only 1 in that same top 13 (Toews)
NYC here is expecting 8-10 inches. Roughly 2-3 feet in buffalo terms
My body is ready to watch the Caps get spanked again on national TV!
It will be an honor to lose to Wulf tonight.
At first, they said South Jersey was just going to get rain tomorrow but apparently we are getting rain at first, then snow which could be anywhere from 3 inches to 8.
Tim Thomas traded to the Islanders. Not going to play at all, but mainly a move for Boston to get some cap space. IF he does play at least 1 game, then the Isle lose 1 2nd round pick in 2014 or 2015, but if he doesn't, the Isle don't lose anything. So basically they picked up his contract for free and if he decided to ever play again, he'll have to play for the Isle, if I'm understanding the trade correctly
"Guys, we need to do something about replacing DiPietro, the dude is made of glass."
"Let's get Tim Thomas, he's available right?"
"BRILLIANT!"
