Theres quite a few Blues fans (as well as empty seats) in Detroit tonight.

Wings up to 5th, extra point will put them into 4th. Which is likely as high as they will get this season.
It may not have been intentional but why in the fuck was Cooke lifting his skate off the ice? Complete fucking idiot. First he intentionally ends one player's career, now he takes another out for at least a year by being a fucking moron.
and Sep, nobody gives a flying fuck what Neil does to Cooke. Just because he has been a good boy for awhile doesn't mean he deserves any respect.
Also, I forget to say so last night, but the Caps are no longer the worst team in the NHL. We are tied with 3 other teams for that distinction!
Flames grilling the Stars. 3 goals in 9:55. lol.
BALOOOOOOOS
Wings play a decent game but have several lazy plays, so only 1 point
So by your logic, with rules being selectively enforced, if Deryk England comes over and sucker punches backstrom in the face and jumps on him, who cares? Give him a minor for roughing. I don't give a flying fuck about what anyone in the NHL does to Backstrom. Fuck, I hope Rene Borque picks him up and tombstone piledrivers him. Im an NHL fan and apparently aslong as I don't give a fuck about people, I can make a case for rules being selectively enforced based on my level of care for the victim.
The difference being Cooke has ended other players' careers intentionall and should have never been let back on the ice for it. Nice attempt to troll but it's a stupid fucking comparison. I also didn't say he should/shouldn't have been penalized, I said nobody fucking cares.
If Backstrom was a cunt earlier in his career, and then cuts a dude's Achille's because he doesn't know how to keep his skates on the ice when going in the corner - then yes.
inb4 "he's played like an angel for the past season", fuck him.
Redemption is spelled C-o-o-k-e
Really? you mother fuckers live in a western civilized nation and you don't believe in people getting a chance to redeem themselves? Do you think every criminal should go to jail for life? Suffer forever? Cooke did his time and changes his ways and yet people still want him punished, God would not approve of such hateful thinking.
Cooke had more than plenty of chances lol.
Since when was the McDonaugh or Savard hits intentional attempts to end another person's career? It was dirty, reckless finishing of hits on defenseless players, but I doubt his mindset was "I hope he doesn't play next game - or ever again". His mindset was likely more along the lines of "Puck carrier!!! Must hit!!" and then acting on that impulse even if the player tries getting out of the way (McDonaugh, stopping up and lifting his head so cooke jumped into it with the elbow) or lets go of the puck (Savard shooting it, hitting him on the follow through).
CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG A JAGR?
