I'm actually quite happy these guys are getting a better opportunity rather then sitting out an entire year. They're definitely not worth the money teams signed them for but a lot of teams could use a decent defenceman in Redden (looking at you Edmonton). And Gomez... well... I'm sure he'll get an offer from like Tampa Bay or Carolina or Florida or some crappy, non-hockey market team with lots of cap space.

Also, holy fuck if they do get signed. New contract plus all the money from their previous contracts. Bitches better sign for like 1mil Max
