One of my favorite things to do now after a Canes loss is read the comments on the facebook post reporting the loss. Oh man, so many native Carolina hockey fans are clueless. There's always at least one fan pissed that they pulled the goalie at the end of the game. People always calling to trade Skinner (who is only 20 yrs old, and admittedly struggling this year but he's 20!) Tons of people hate Joni Pitkanen as well, which isn't surprising given his defense isn't the best, but the level of hatred is.

I wasn't expecting them to win tonight. Tomorrow's game is definitely more important: to be one step closer to claiming the grand prize of the SE division and live like hockey gods before getting swept out by Ottawa or Toronto in the first round.

I'm working the game tomorrow (err... later today) but I don't really have high hopes based on how they've been playing lately.

I just realized that with my game next week it's unlikely that I'm going to get to see Sid play.

Would have been the first time, too.
