Would be an interesting series. Sucks that it would be the last time for the forseeable future that we'd see that playoff series unless both make it to the finals.

Looked like the kid lost his temper for losing, regardless he deserves to get whats coming to him for reacting in such a stupid way. Having said that, the author of the article fucking sucks.

As you can see in the video above, the shot was most definitely felt by the referee, who went down to a knee so he could clutch his shoulder after Nomanovas’ stick drilled him in the upper body. The attack also elicited a rapid response from a British player, though he was kept from getting to Nomanovas by another ref.

The British player didnt exactly beeline for the Lithuanian player like the article depicts, more like he coasted over going "Calm the fuck down bro". Moreover, it was the same ref who caught the shot in the arm who broke up that altercation.

Honestly, with how much better the Caps are playing, I wouldn't be surprised if they won a couple rounds.
Usually at least one conference is completely unpredictable in the playoffs.

You seem to forget Edmonton always gives us headaches, so I don't know that it'd be a 4-game series.

The Oilers have the offense, that's not what I'm scared of, it's their lack of solid D that scares me come playoff time.
That and the lack of size that I always bitch about. Since come playoff time, it's a hitting game, and I just can't see them surviving that at this point. Taylor Hall plays reckless, and I think that would bite him in the ass. Nuge, Eberle, Gagner would get rag-dolled.
Dubnyk is a solid #1 goalie. I have faith in him totally.

But who knows, come playoff time it's anyone's game.

I kinda want to see the Kings vs the Canucks again in the first round just becuase they seem to have a good rivalry brewing.

Watching the oilers play is fun. Amazing speed and skill. However the team has a few weaknesses. Horrible d line and the fact that there kid line can be shut down by hitting them.

Wild and Blue could be scary in the first round. This Canucks team is almost identical as the 2011 team. If the team catches fire no reason they can't go far. Question is if we'll see Kesler man up or not. Hawks most likely in the west final. After that its really a tough call.

I know the SE kinda sucks but you guys are ridiculous sometimes. Caps have been winning the entire east for years(regular season only but that's what you're bitching about), it's just last year and this that have been goofy. Last year, the omgterrible Caps best the BigBadBruins and if it wasn't for one retarded moment, would have beat the Rags for a third time in the playoffs. The "shitted their way in with a million OTL" Florida Panthers also took the eventual Cup losing Devils to 7, which is better then NYR or PHI did, so let's not simply assume SE teams are getting swept.

Let's not forget the SE has 2 cups in the last 8, how many do your favorite teams have in that time? (this does not apply to LA,CHI,DET,ANA and fuck BOSandPIT)
