While that's true, there's no team in the NHL that will let a dude take 2-3 extra swipes at their goalie and not rough him up. Refs should know this, and they normally don't call it.

What it comes down to is that reffing this year has been at an abysmal all time low for EVERY GAME, not just this one. Between the bullshit calls, pansy ass official abuse calls, phantom goaltender interference calls (which is Miller's fault to begin with) and just all around refs with cerebral palsy.

OHHHH my god I had so much fucking fun tonight! Totally broke so no getting blitzed over here but I had such a great time, so fun to see the Pens hit the ice tonight - and always fun to see them WIN! There was a pretty good turnout of Pens fans so there were a few times when the "LETS GO PENS" was drowning out everything else, and then the boos would start from the Lightning fans, and we just had an overall great time.

Pics are from my cell phone so yeah, they're crappy and I was in nosebleeds but I could still see the action so well. It was just great.







Didn't take many. I was too engrossed in the actual game to want to take pics.

Oh the goals - oh the goals! And the FITES. And the WIN! I was so excited for this game and it didn't disappoint.

That Jumbotron is really JUMBO and it looks amazing. The lightning machine things were cool but not as big as I thought they'd be. The organist was good and they had the entire crowd sing the national anthem which got me really into it. Overall, I had a great time at the Forum and I'll likely go back even just to cheer for the Bolts, and I'll definitely be back next year when the Pens come to town again.
