As far as awards finalists picks go...

I believe that in both the Hart and Vezina races, would-be Hawks candidates are going to suffer from cannibalizing each others' votes. If Rask were to finish ahead of Emery or even Crawford that'd logically be silly, both have the same number of wins as him in less games(1/3rd less in Emery's case) with better GAA/SV%, but he probably will because voters can't pick between the two and votes get split. Same goes for Toews/Kane, though in this case I think it'd be moot since either Crosby or Ovechkin is going to take it, most likely Crosby.

I think this would be silly if Toews doesn't take it, he has the best faceoff numbers outside of Bergeron, more shorthanded goals than either, and pretty much the exact same amount of SH time as Datsyuk if you weight out that Detroit takes slightly more penalties than Chicago.

I think it's awesome how Ovechkin has turned what could have been his worst season in the league into a possible MVP. Makes me not want to give him the nod for Hart because he was crappy for a lot of the season and then beyond amazing for the end. I guess it averages out.

Yeah Huberdeau does the most with the least. I'm surprised Schultz / Yakupov didn't perform better but I guess Edm's overall offense isn't what they expected. I though Tarasenko would be up there too but I guess the injury combined with a defensive team doesn't help.

Tarasenko's had the most WOW moments to me but has also dropped off a bit in the second half. I think Saad's hurt by the fact that he has all-world linemates, at the same time you have to be pretty damn good to even be allowed to stay on a line like that past a few games. He's had a hand in major points too(a couple of GWG and several GWA) but I know this doesn't get looked at as much.
