I could see Montreal, Anaheim, and Chicago GMs being up for this too.

Montreal GM would be a possibility, but as for Anaheim GM and Stan Bowman, honestly neither of them really did anything, they just both already had very talented rosters that played up to potential. Biggest thing Bowman did was the Handzus pickup, while that's certainly paying great dividends so far it's not exactly a blockbuster move.

And I know caps fan won't like me but I don't think oveshkin deserves MVP simply because he's been awesome for like 1/4 to 1/2 of the season

1) A counterpoint to that argument is that while Ovie may not have been valuable all season, the Caps certainly would not even be in playoff contention without his recent run; opposed to the Pens who have a fantastic team and probably would have at least made the top 8 in the conference had Crosby missed half a season or more.

2) Either way it doesn't matter, the Hart is just a supplmental award to whoever wins the Art Ross.
