e: Wings hold the ROW tiebreaker, CBJ the H2H tiebreaker. This is going to be fun no matter how it plays out.

Some pretty interesting scenarios...Lumbus has probably the hardest schedule of the four major players here but the least amount of games, Blues and Stars have the most games(most potential to lose spots in theory) but probably the easiest schedule, Minny has a relatively easy schedule but if they lose a few and the Central teams win out the Central could send 4 teams to the playoffs. Dallas has to play all 3 Central teams that they're fighting for a spot with, has the hardest schedule, and the least amount of time off from what I can see. Dallas has a pretty brutal schedule, I don't think they'll be able to claw their way in, but every win they do get is a win someone above them doesn't get.

Wild could either win their division, be left out entirely, or something in between. Kings could be anything from 4th to out. CBJ has some real gut check time but no back-to-back games and plenty of time to rest Bobrovsky between games, if they win tonight and against SJ I have to think they're going to make it. Going to be an awesome last week of the season.

If the Rangers lose to the cats tonight it is as good as over. The team has been incredibly inconsistent. Hats off to Columbus though... if they get in, I'll be really happy for them. CBJ vs NYI cup series??? It could happen (and no one would care).

Marek vs Wyshnski is good. Also Backhand Shelf Podcast is excellent as well. Both are daily during the week. Once a week not really hockey related but funny is the Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole do a podcast, highly recommended.

That's the one part I sorta miss about the final crunch to the season. The epic chase down to the last few nights wondering if you'll make it or not. Now the only debate during the season, is wondering if Taylor Hall is going to give Tiger a run for his money in The Masters.
But if we beat Calgary in the final standings, it's a small victory.
