100% powerplay this game, super Hawks SuperbowlStanley Cup
!!!!!!!!!
So if the Kings win on Sunday and the Ducks lose we have a real chance to take the division.
WHY DID YOU GET A POINT PREDATORS? WHAT THE FUCK
Can't wait for a super motivated Boston team at home to completely ass fuck a Penguins team with nothing to play for tomorrow.
I pity commentators doing Bruins games now. "Chara scores with a total bom... uh blas... er hard shot from the point."
Flames have 4 wins in 5 games. We're actually playing better now then we did before we began the rebuild. There is hope for the future!! Also, Feaster has signed a handful of our prospects that were in college and playing overseas. Should be fun to watch them play in the AHL/NHL next year

proof this guy follows nothing but the pittsburgh penguins.
Now that I've actually gotten home from work and seen the highlights and interviews and whatnot, I'm starting to feel really bitter sweet sentiments for Kipper. Would love to see him play another 5 great years of hockey and be our Marty Brodeur. But at the same time, it's time for change and it's time for him to do what's best for him. There's still a chance that he'll play next year (the last year of his contract). But who knows how good of a chance that is, the guy is incredibly quiet and private. And of course, if he plays well he could be signed to an extension. But at the same time tonight may have just been his last home game.
Definitely didn't feel this way when Iggy left. And hell no when Jay-Bo left. But something about this maybe being Kipper's last game just hits kinda hard.
Dallas loss means Detroit is back in control of their playoff chances.
My love of the Wings and hate of Wings fans makes this scenario so confusing

proof this frog doesn't bother reading our posts, just whines about the Habs like a fat chick getting porked by a pudgey sweaty tapout fan with a tiny dick
Incase you're unaware, Jornna perfected the art of complaining about his teams odds with a 'woe is me' sort of attitude leading into games. If his team lost, 'he saw it coming.' If his team won, who the fuck cares if he was wrong - his team won. Similarly, if the Pens lost, I could say I saw it coming and I didn't have my hopes up for this game. If the Pens win, well fuck you Nynja we're Eastern Conference Champs.
By the way, can someone explain why Hawks are so hot this season? They didn't pick up any huge trades this year right? So they're about the same team as last year? Anything change?
They spent the offseason fixing their defense (as in, the 5 & 6 guys), and promoted the right kids to help on offense (Saad, Shaw, etc), and both of their goaltenders are playing more consistently good (which is certainly helped by fixing their defensive depth).
Biggest game of the year for the Islanders and Jets.
So Jets will lose after 5 straight wins now, and dash our playoff hopes.
Oh woe is me.
Should be a good game between Pens/Bruins today
Anyway it's still exhibition games
Real Season starts the 30th! (and habs season ends in the first or 2nd week in may!) lol
At the risk of looking stupid here... (but I know this is a good source of hockey info...)
So ROW as a tiebreaker is only a couple of years old, right? Was there a specific reason why ROW is used? If you want to value a particular type of win more than another, I'd think a regulation win has more distinction from an OT win, than an OT win has from a shootout. That also makes more sense to me because if follows the same pattern as the way points are assigned.
It just seems to me it's an extra category that would better be folded in to the regulation (2pt game) versus OT/SO (3pt game) divide.
