I don't think it'd be bug. just doesn't look bug-like.

Vaporeon is still a beast.

New Eeveelution is flying type. Every type on that list is opposite its counter, so it fits.

I still think they missed out on adding a Light type with Black and White. Would have been perfect to do it there.

If that's the case it could also be ground being opposite Jolteon
I think it would be amazing to have this one be bred only, and it's type is based on which two eevelutions you use, like Jolteon + Vaporeon make Sylvion that is water/electric, not going to happen, but would be cool imo

Counters work both ways.

Electric > Flying

Can anyone tell what moves it's using? I can only recognize Swift at the end, but that's generic among all Eevee types if I'm not mistaken

Swift, Final Gambit, Last Resort, Charge I think.

Swift, Trump Card, Giga Impact. They're all normal type moves, Eevee only learns Trump Card.

I'm still not sure if I'm buying into it being a beauty contest normal evolution, with the mild similarities to Milotic, or the flying type idea. Both seem equally plausible.

edit: Actually, that could be Final Gambit, which would make it Swift, Trump, FG. Hard to tell, they're fairly visually similar.

The moves don't really give away much at all. It's name though, Sylveon, makes me think Sylph and being an FF nut, I can't help but think wind or fairy. Wind leads me to believe flying type, but the fairy type (and Sylph in FF occasionally being a summon that drains HP from a mob) makes me think Bug type as well (those big buggy eyes to boot). But bug type is a huge stretch, so I'm more inclined to lean towards it being a flying type.

Of course, Pokemon =/= FF in the least, so that's pure speculation with no basis at all lol.

The japanese name for it is Ninfia which sounds a lot like Nymph. And Nynphali in french, which is even more like Nymph so you might be on to something lol. Side note, does anyone else think Sylveon's face looks a lot like Victini when it's mouth is open?

It really looks like a normal type to me. I am not seeing bug at all. Think outside the box though. Maybe it is a normal/??? type or another mixture of types.

hopefully it is, but with last generation there where sketches out early of the 3 starters, everyone one said no they looked to stupid/off theme of 2nd evolution to be true. sadly they where true. lamest starters ever "B/W".
