guh. all I keep fighting are pupitars. I want a larvitar, damnit.
I bet it'll somehow be tied to the secret ID -- like Nintendo has some algorithm for generating them that we've never known. As far as an advantage goes, if you can give them moves they wouldn't normally have access to, you could cover weaknesses, etc. But that's the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.
Looks like there's only one extra level? I think for females it added 2 or 3 new ones, if that helps at all..
I only keep good ones with at least 4+ IV's.
I wonder trade just about all the pokemon I breed. I'm not breeding for perfect IV's and stuff. Just trying to breed for Shiny's. No luck so far but I've gotten some cool things in wonder trade so far. I have a Noibat with Pokerus sitting in one of my boxes right now. Not really sure what use the pokerus is though. Does it effect supertraining?
Doesn't hurt to have some nice trade bait laying around if someone has something you would like but isn't willing to give it away for free.
Got a Japanese charmander to maybe start breeding a shiny. Guy forgot his everstone on it. Whoops?
Are there really no random 6v6 battles unless you challenge someone directly?
Am I the only one that feels like most of the new Pokémon are far too slow? >.> There are a few fast ones here and there, but I just looked through most of their speeds and know I could never use them. =( (Never been a fan of slow/defensive strategies, Aegislash seems neat though.)
Aegislash has become too popular for his own good. Everyone knows the strategy he will employ and are ready to check it.
When no other new Pokémon seems to be good to me, not surprising he would become popular. =x
edit: Well, there are a few exceptions! Like the ones below.
Greninja is amazing and if the rumors are true about Tyrantrum getting Rock Head holy jumping fucking jesus.
