Which hidden abilities do Eevees get and is it important enough that I should get one from a safari instead of the wild? I don't think anyone here has an Eevee safari, do they...

they get Anticipation, which senses out a high-attack move basically... I would never use it over anything any of the evolutions have personally

Well be wary to get the hidden ability on the eeveelution, you have to have the hidden ability on Eevee of course lol

Whoa whoa WHOA wait a second there buddy your head is going to spin right now. If you happen to have a Tyrantrum with Rock Head your opponents or going shit their pants and I will tell you why.

Strong Jaw increases the base power of biting type moves by 50%, the elemental fangs have 65 base power which is kinda meh but with SJ they are 97.5 which is pretty good and the thing with them is you always want to hit for super effective damage which would be double damage resulting in 195 base power which is great considering their coverage and Tyrantrums attack BUT!.

Rock Head does not recieve recoil damage from recoil damage type attacks like Take Down. Well ok so what? Lol mother fucker learns Head Smash! Head Smash has a base power of 150! Holy shit but wait with the SJaw combo I can get in super effective hits more easily and that is true except Head Smash is a Rock type move ok wait Tyrantrum is Rock/Dragon that means he gets STAB on Head Smash! STAB is +50% base power on Head Smash a FUCKING >

Two hundred twenty five base power

225 BASE POWER

2 hundred 25 base fucking power holy fuck!

That means if a Pokemon is weak to say Fire but is neutral Rock, Head smash will deal more damage than a super effective SJaw Fire fang by 30 base damage meaning if your looking at the surface on single typing compared to the SJaw set your looking at 11 types that will take more damage from a neutral Head smash than whatever SE Fang you use then you have 4 more type that take SE damage from Head smash while the last 3 types take not very effective.

The problem is getting a Rock Head Tyrunt, There's a NPC in the Battle maison that uses a rock head Tyrantrum but you can't get Tyrunt from a friend safari because he isn't there that is where the rumors started of this being a hidden ability that he will some how get in the future but a pic recently showed up of someone having a Rock Head Tyrunt so people are assuming that it is a extremely rare seconf ability.

Set would be
Jolly att 252. spe 252. HP 4
Rock Head Ability
Head smash
Earthquake (Coverage)
Fire fang (Coverage)
Rock Polish or Dragon Dance

One last thing just to show you how crazy Head smash is if you were to run into a pokemon strong to rock but weak to fire (Steel types) with no SJaw Fire Fang will deal 130 super effective base damage while Head Smash will do 112.5 not very effective base power that is really fucking close but fire fang is better in that situation.

Just turned on my 3DS to check my Tyrantrum for Rock Head, and my 3DS has started crashing again. ;-;It's not an issue with the game because it crashes from the main menu. Sigh.

The big question is: Is he going to be a Mega Stone (ie Gengarite) or not? That makes a big difference, Mega Gengar gets to be one of the best "trappers" in the game right now.

Depends on the party/strategy idc really. Gastly I have atm is max ivs (excluding atk) and modedt nature (sp atk up atk down) and ev trained in max speed/sp atk

Reason it matters is because going Mega lets you trap targets and pummel them to death without mercy, while a non-Mega has room for an item, like Life Orb. Mega likely wants a Substitute it can hide behind after a kill if someone brings in trouble, so it can flee without getting walloped by a Pursuit. Non-Mega can be an all-out fast attacker. Both do well with Shadow Ball + Sludge Bomb as bread and butter attacks and can flambe a physical type with Will O Wisp. Dazzling Gleam isn't superplusgood, but it does give you some fun coverage options. (Note: All of this is assuming you're not breeding Egg moves onto it from another Pokemon, like say Pain Split- which is beastly good with Life Orb Gengar.)

I like the idea of traping them and just raping them... so move set:

shadow ball
Sludge bomb
Will o wisp
Flambe?

what pokemon complements that well?
