Took me a couple day, but finally got my 5IV Chlorophyll Bulbasaur.

ok I am frustrated and confused. I have a ditto with perfect IV in attack holding the power item and a male evee with perfect speed holding the corrisponding power item. Yet the offsprings only get perfect in attack, whats going wrong here?!

If you give two separate pokemon power items you have a 50% chance one or the other will pass.

If you give them both items that transfer over IVs it does not guarantee that all of them will transfer. Giving one the destiny knot and the other the power brace, for example, won't guarantee both the speed and power IVs will transfer. The Destiny Knot chooses 5 randomly and will "ignore" the Power Brace. You're going to have to continue breeding until you get the two IVs you want and then continue from there.

my god if I think about doing this another 5 times for my whole team it wants me go into madness mode ¬.¬

Thats why you see a lot of people trading off pokemon they breed as well as trying to get ones from Friend Safaris that already have 3 perfect IVs.

I've gotten some in return this way. Also if you send out imperfects be sure to mark what IVs they have using the symbols on the summary screen. Those symbols trade over and whoever gets your Pokemon can see them and easily know it was bred.

Everstone passes along nature 100% of the time. You should have had nature locked down dozens of eggs ago even if you had to crossbreed with a bunch of weedles

Generally don't bread like that... I just start working on IV's and as soon as i get a right nature one, regardless of its IV's, I equip it with the everstone... I've just yet to get one with adamant nature.

Finally got one thank god!

Also if I reset my game does it reset my friend safari? And how fae into the game do u have to be to trade pokemon?

You need to reset your 3ds completely to get a new friend code.

I think you can trade right away? At least once you have a pokemon. You just need that program on the bottom screen.

FYI I think the reset will clear all saves, and if you have anything from Nintendo's eshop you'll lose it.
