First rating is overall IV total. If its over ... 31x5, it gets "Outstanding", I think. Or something.

Then it tells you its highest stats.

And then if you're IV breeding you're looking for "Can't be beat".

You can't tell without a doubt that the other stats are "above average" on that Eevee you mentioned.

Good luck. I'm working on my Kalos Dex for Oval Charm ATM. Catching more Dittos to trade on GTS while spamming my Stat O-Powers and checking GTS. It's a gauntlet.

Outstanding just means their Total stats are above 151 If i remember right... and with 6 IV's your max is like 183... So you can get Outstanding with say, 2/6 Perfect IV's, just means your others are pretty high :D

Okay srsly, this Fishing Method for Shinies is stupid

, I have a Suction Cup mob at the start of my group (Octillary or w/e)... Got to about chain 25-30 and got "Nothing seems to be Biting" message, fudging the whole thing. I thought Suction Cups was suppose to prevent that? -.-;, I understand why people hack shinies, this shit is maddening.

You should NEVER get a 'Nothing seems to be biting" with suction cups. Sure the !! wasn't just quick and went away quick? o.O I've gotten to chain 60 before without break lol

I dont understand why everyone does shit like this... breeding is retarded easy... I have made 5 perfect (outstanding, 5 perfect ivs, beneficial nature) pokemon and each only took 3-4 hours max, and the majority of that time was spent trying to get the right natures. Then again i breed for the sanctification that when I have a perfect pokemon that wins me battles I have can be proud i put in the work instead of cheating the game to give it to me :/

Other topic, whats an easy way to posion a opponets team? Friend and I were thinking Whimsicott throw down toxic spikes and then bring out my Mega Gengar to venoshock (Gengar has perfect speed/spatk iv, +sp atk nature, speed/sp atk ev) with veno shock being 65 power(doubled when poisoned) and stab i think. But apparently whimsicott can learn toxic spikes :/ or is this just a shitty strategy?

Also hear that Gengar kinda squishy and should be timid nature instead of Modest nature... anyone have suggestion either way?

I agree that I like to breed my own to get the satisfaction of a home grown team, but come on. As an FFXI-based board most of us are grinders by nature so we don't really recognize it, but breeding is a PAIN IN THE ASS. It took me about 8 hours to complete the Tyrantum build I needed. Here are the steps I had to take, and keep in mind, I STARTED WITH A LOT!

1. Breed Fire Fang onto Tyrunt:
1a. Get female Tyrunt. (Female has a 12% chance, and anecdotally, apparently much less than that..)
1b. Level my existing 5 IV (only 4 I want, and wrong nature) Charmander until it learns Fire Fang
1c. Breed the two until I get a female spawn (12% chance, anecdotally less..)

2. Breed Ice Fang and Dragon Dance onto the Tyrunt.
2a. Acquire a 5 IV Adamant Larvitar with Guts and 3 egg moves (incl. Dragon Dance) through a trade from previous own breeding
2b. Level Larvitar to 55
2c. Use Heart Scale to get Ice Fang on the Tyranitar
2d. Breed 5 IV correct nature Tyranitar with Ice Fang until female pops up with both moves from it

3. Breed IVs
3a. Breeding a 5 IV male parent with 3 IV female parent
3b. Breed until female with 5 IV so I can breed more for trades

This took a long ass time, largely because the female would appear about once every 2 batches of eggs, maybe less, and it's a crapshoot whether the IVs will be better. I actually got the 5 IV female as well as a 6 IV male before I got a better mother for the breeding process.

Most people would not do this shit. Just saying. I can see why you'd want to cheat it a bit.

I think the % chance of female pokemon from eggs is the same as wild Pokemon. So you have about a 12% chance of getting a female one.

Yeah. He was swapping memory around to get alternate Pokemon to pop during wild encounters, so we got to see Mega Latios/Latias (there you go, that means there's more Mega Stones out there without a doubt), what might be a later evo for Carbink, etc etc.

Funniest thing is, he's a 3DS mod/hacker, but not really a Pokemon one. Thus, there aren't any of these going out on Wonder Trade or anything else and he's not talking about the nuts and bolts of how it got done.
