once you have 1-2 good ones it is easy to make more

Ya I can give you Eevees as long as you log on! Everyone who wants to trade me never gets online lol.

Breeding that many eevees is not that hard tbh as long as you start with something good. I can give you some 5IV eevees to start you off and it shouldn't be that bad. But realistically they probably don't all need wish (Jolteon, Espeon are too squishy in general to make much use of it for instance). And you're missing the best one (stats and utilitywise) XD

So I'm trying to evolve eevee into espeon, you need high "happiness" and level it during the daytime. My question is how to raise its happiness. Will sticking soothe bell on it and riding my bike in a circle (it being in my party and therefore traveling with me) do the trick? Or do I have to either take it into battles or give it a bunch of massages? Is there a difference between friendship (which I think is what the soothe bell does) and happiness?

Also capping EVs means they cant change anymore unless you reset them correct? So after they're capped I can fight any pokemon without worrying about fucking them up?

apparently if you go to Lum city and go around the tower for 10 mins it's happiness will be high enough to evolve as soon as it next levels up (if holding the soothe bell)

The fastest way might be using Soothing punching bags, getting your pokemon massages and playing with it on pokeamie.
The easier way is to put it in the lead of your part, equip soothing bell and circle around the Eiffel tower place. You can periodically check your poke happiness on pokeaimie. 2 hearts is enough to get it to evolve.
You wont even need to pay attention to the game if you decide the easy way. Just make sure you're on a path that wont get you stuck on obstacles and stick a dime in the control stick.

Thanks for the answers, that's actually what I've been doing while waiting for a reply sooo I wonder if it's good enough now... (it wasnt in the front of my party).
But I thought happiness didn't have anything to do with amie? Plenty of people have said that amie friendship rating and happiness rating are two different things.

[edit] Yup, it was enough :D It also has no hearts in amie (I havent done anything in amie with it either).

Yeah I was trying to make an Umbreon, and got it up to 5 hearts via Pokemon Amie. Got another Sylveon instead. So yes "Happiness" and "Affection" from Pokemon Amie are definitely two different things.

Well, it can only become a Sylveon if it knows fairy type moves too. That's why I overwrote Charm on my Espeon-eevee before trying to evolve it, just in case.

with friendship, evolve eevee during day = Espeon
with friendship, evolve eevee during night = Umbreon
The exception being that if eevee knows a Fairy type move, it will always evolve into a sylveon no matter what time of day.

I need a Hidden Ability eevee... Pixelate or whatever for Sylveon sounds beastly.

if any of you guys need eevees seriously I have like 7 boxes full of 4/5IV eevees various abilities (including hidden) and various natures from breeding for all the evolutions so just traaaade meeeeee (ashley or silenka ingame not sure which)

Think I might do birds next...any birds besides the new flame one and the legendary ones that are any good?
