I cant believe with how big pokemon is not one dev realized what a major fuckup friend safari is >.>. Look on reddit for ditto safaris; everyone with them gets sick of adding people lol. Gonna try radar thing.

Mega Gengar isn't doing much of anything for me in ratings battles; he just gets rocked, mostly. This guy is supposed to be beastly yet he's weak to most of the things being run.

The first thing I suggest someone do to a Mega-K is set it on fire. No, seriously. Status that fugger. And most of the ghost types that can do it, Kangaskhan wants to Sucker Punch, which fails nicely. It's a lot like Aegislash- people gravitate towards a strongly predictable moveset. They're gonna want to open with Fake Out, then move to Power Up Punch for a +2, then their sweep move of choice, with Sucker Punch being in there to hose the appropriate opponents with priority (or more rarely, Crunch). Sometimes Earthquake. But figure turn 1 you see a Kangaskhan it's going to Fake Out and Mega Evolve.

Trevenant actually does not make Kangaskhan happy either- you can burn and then Leech Seed it for good measure, which plays merry hell with it trying to Sucker you and piles on residual damage. But seriously. Burn it quick and early. Malamar using Swagger -> Topsy Turvy is a rude thing to do to one as well- you frequently end up with a -4 target if it opened

Mega Gengar suffers right now because everyone hates Aegislash, therefore runs stuff Gengar doesn't approve of either. Earthquake messes them both up, plus the usual suspects.

Strange.. either they changed something about Sky Drop's mechanics or they added Ice Beam to the list of moves that can hit a target in the air..

I'd say a Shiny is a Shiny but I gave away my first Shiny which was a level 5 Gulpin.

also I can't remember if the Shellder I gave you was male, but they are in the same egg group so lmk if you want a good male one to speed up the staryu breeding

Filling out a full Nature collection of Dittos is 10000x easier than trying to catch a specific nature in the wild if you're ever going to want more than one poke with that nature. Synchronize Is kinda pointless this gen except for legendaries.

Just trying to save you time.

I've got my IV Ditto box with tons of IV spreads and then I have my nature ditto box with all 20 stat changing natures. Was definitely worth the time investment and it has paid off beautifully. Used Ditto Safari for it.

I've given away all my extra Timid Dittos, otherwise I'd offer you one.

I fail to see the difference between taking the time to catch a ditto of every nature and catching/breeding a sync Ralts with every useful nature

obviously if you have a ditto safari it's nice to have all the different 2 IV combos, but otherwise it's easy to either sync Ralts to catch your poke in the wild or to catch the male parent in friend safari

really confused why you think synchronize is "pointless"

I was trying for either a shiny Staryu or a shiny Clauncher (who I was going to call Mr. Krabs), but after breaking a chain 50 (with no shiny..), I just got my Abra with Sync and got a timid -- have one for ya now, Moss.

My first ever shiny through fishing took 69 attempts. It got to the point I figured i was doing something wrong. =x

I have a Relicanth for an earlier attempt at a shiny Clauncher which I got in a reasonable 30-something chain and then a shiny Gyarados that took two 40+ chains and a 20+ to get. That "you reeled it in too slow" message is so aggravating..

Doesn't that whole "fishing chain" thing involve having an Octillery with a special ability in your first slot?

I wish I could get an Octillery let alone a Remoraid.

There's also Inkay which is caught on the same route as one of the good spots for fish chaining.
