chaining's a lot easier than I assumed it was going to be. Just watched a youtube video on it then went for it. I didn't keep exact count though cause since it was my very first try, I assumed I would have failed really fast, but I'm at least up to 15.

oh man, posting this post almost made me lose chain. set my 3ds down to type, when I picked it up again, I had my thumb on the analog stick and almost moved with it, but I caught myself.

broke at roughly 30ish after deciding to take a shaking grass too close to me. Oh well. I'll try again with a pokemon I might actually use instead of a ditto.

Finally got my first shiny breeding, yesterday. But it was so early in my breeding path that it only had 1 perfect IV and.. the wrong ability. Fucking hell.

Today I got my first 6 IV pokemon this gen, the same Poke as yesterday. But once again, wrong ability. -_- The only plus side is that it's a male and in 2 decent egg groups. But still.. damn it.

Think there is an item from the Battle Maison that can change a Pokémon's ability? Might be kinda pricy though.

edit: Unless you want the hidden ability, don't think it can give that.

The hidden ability is the only worthwhile ability on this Pokemon so that pill wont work. :/

Just saw this:

In the status screen for Pokémon, and seen in trades and in the box, you may have noticed a blue pentagon next to your Pokémon. The meaning of this had yet to be determined, but has been partially revealed today. This pentagon is a confirmation of being obtained in-game. If your Pokémon has this, it confirms it was obtained legitimately in-game or through event. If not, then it has an error and has been hacked, or potentially from another region.
