anyone have a field egg group pokemon with Wish?
trying to get it to eevee but I don't see any pokes that learn it through leveling
you da man, thanks
;w; i think this game is telling me that I'm not meant to trade with Serra.
omg game, please connect to Serra! >___<;;;;;;;;;;;;
I just shut down for the night, will try to get it to ya tomorrow.
Suminko you still looking for a drilbur? Got a few 4 IVs. What Ability you want? They are all adamant btw.
ee, thank you! but this guy ended up trading me a breeding pair :D thanks so much though!
please too if you guys want any pokemans just check my listtotally up for trades! http://www.tinyurl.com/wavepokes
I've got a box full of 4-5IV Chatots with the egg moves Nasty Plot, Encore, and Boomburst btw if anyone wants one. They are all Modest and all have Tangled Feet(not that the ability matters) which I have no idea how I managed to get that one ability on 100% of my chatots.
Interested in a good breeding Conkelduur (whatever is first form is), scyther and mawile, but any poke will do that's not a greninja, dratini, gible, litwick, bulbasaur, staryu, marill, kangaskhan, shellder.
I also still have a few 4IV jolly rough skin Gibles and a very few 4IV jolly kangaskhan and 4IV jolly shellder with shell smash/rock blast/icicle spear and 4-5IV adamant huge power/thivk fat marill with Aqua Jet and Belly Drum.
Mmkay, so I need some advice. Never really played online before, but I want to give it a shot. I'm currently breeding a team (don't do this seriously, usually just breed maybe 20 eggs and keep the best of the lot), but I'm kinda stuck as to who to add to balance things out. Currently I have Gengar (Timid), Electivire (Naive), Blaziken (Adamant), Goodra (Modest). Still kinda iffy on Blaziken since most of its moves are either low on accuracy or hurt the user. And I know Electivire is kinda meh, but whatever I still wanna use it >_>. Anywho, was considering maybe a Venusaur (Bold?) for tanking, and maybe a Starmie or a Metagross (iffy on this for the same reason as Blaziken). Also wanted to kinda stay away from the standard generic Pokes like Aegislash, but if it'll seriously help, then whatever.
Also was curious as to when/how/if to use Vitamins. Do they still work on a fully super trained Poke? And if you use them before you super train, do they help at all or just advance the super training?
So, about moves that hurt the user -- for a long time, I was incredibly wary of them, just because they sound terrible, but realistically, you only need to survive one battle. It isn't like the single player game where having a move that hurts you can be detrimental over a long stretch. So having a move with 120 power and 100 acc, even though it does 1/3 damage, is actually pretty amazing (I assume you're referring to Flare Blitz and/or Brave Bird?).
Vitamins will have the same effect as super training (or EV training). So if you have a fully maxed pokemon, they won't have any effect.
More than just knowing the team, it's helpful to know what moves/items each of your pokemon have so we can help fill in there. If you're planning on using Mega-Gengar or Mega-Blaziken, then Venusaur loses access to thick fat which really helps it as a tank.
One personal opinion I have, and others might disagree, is that speed is the most important stat you can have to compete online. So while your Adamant Blaziken will be more powerful, if it doesn't get to attack, that advantage is worthless, so having a Jolly one will give it a few extra points in speed that could be all the difference.
While everything here is true and quite spot on I would say though that Blaziken is a bad example because of Speed Boost. This doesn't mean slower pokemon are bad something like a Choice scarf can be used to speed up slower pokemon but locks you on 1 move so you will have to switch out if something has a type that walls your attack also trick room teams are nuts but takes a lot of preparation and skill to use. If you a have slow pokemon make sure it has good typing and pretty bulky like Togekiss and Rotom-W.
Well, I don't have too many of the moves (much less items) planned out, but I'll put down what I know so far:
Gengar (Timid) - Black Sludge: Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam
Blaziken (Adamant) - Blazikenite: Flare Blitz, Brave Bird, Hi Jump Kick, Swords Dance
Electivire (Naive) - ???: Thunderbolt (or Wild Charge), Fire Punch, Brick Break, ???
Goodra (Modest) - Leftovers: Dragon Pulse, ???, ???, ???.<< He's meant mostly to be a SDEF tank, but still be able to knock out some Pokes.
And I guess it wasn't so much the moves that damage the user, but more the moves with low accuracy. Especially on Blaziken where all of his moves either hurt the user or have low acc. As for as him being Adamant, since he has Speed Boost I thought making him Jolly would be a bit of a waste since after a turn or 2 the ability would increase his speed. The giant fighting chicken is really the only one I'm iffy about. Dropping him would also free up a Mega slot, so I could use Gengar as the Mega or add someone new (maybe Mega Venusar as a physical tank... not sure about having 2 Poison types, though). Was also considering maybe an Excadrill?
Definitely want some sort of Water type in there, which is why I had mentioned Starmie. Clawitzer also looks decent.
My Garchomp cant ohko everything without choice band![]()
Welcome to the world of balance. Tanaka has been waiting for you.
Also I'd give you team thoughts but a little occupied with work+research paper.
I lost on battle 117 on Super Singles this morning. Bright Powder took away a Fake Out and a Return, my Mega Kangas got OHKO'd, my Talonflame got OHKO'd, and my Vaporeon ate Thunder STABs from the next Poke.
Going to move on to doubles now. Hopefully it's a little less bullshit filled.
What moves Blaziken has that have low accuracy? Hi jump kick is 90 which is very reliable and Flare Blitz has 100 I would remove Brave Bird as it doesn't give you much coverage and your completely be fucked by Talon flame, I would recommend you switch Brave bird to one of 2 moves, Baton Pass which you will have to breed onto him or Stone Edge or Rock Slide if you don't like that accuracy.
I like having Protect in that spot to guarantee you get a speed boost in and also to scout if your opponent is trying to protect/detect your High Jump Kick
also, you don't have to use Blaziken with the mega stone, he's still borderline OP without
