is jolly a good nature for a tyranatar? just found a female Pupitar with Jolly going to breed Stealth rocks & dragon dance to it with earthquake and a crunch for STAB (not a fan of stone edge it's lost me a torny in the past)

also done breeding my Gligar's so i have a handful of 5 IVs with a careful nature (bumping up there sp def just in case i get stuck in a situation where they need to last a special)

Edit: just noticed my Haxorus has adament (my dragon dance daddy) would that be better? just considering my options

There's too many TTar builds out there. You need to pick what role you want it to fill and work from there. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, look at recommended builds on Smogon for a starting point.

i'm looking for a bulky build with some force behind him i know mega has high def and attack so i thought a speed nature might help him better and since talonflame comes out so much these days i thought stealth rocks would be great as well and dragon dance because who doesn't love a disco loving godzilla?

I'd have to run the numbers on a +1 and +2 TTar with speed nature to see if it's worth it to run a set variation of what you're saying. You don't see speed natures on most TTars unless they're scarfed revenge killers. One Mach Punch can often take a TTar right out, because the second I see a TTar come in, I'm bringing out something with that if I have it. Massive liability. I probably wouldn't do it.

Again, Smogon suggested builds are a good place to start. Most have been play tested countless times. I'd start with that and make my own variation on it.

Also, Mega TTar isn't optimal. You can run him if you want, but a regular style held item does better and an ability-changing Mega Evolve is probably a better choice.

You need to think about the roles things fill on your team, what they counter, what counters them, and the overall synergy with everything else you're running to figure it out. You're just throwing out Megas at this point and hoping one sticks.

I can tell you that on paper, Mega Aggron looks like a beast of a tank, but its HP is kind of lackluster to start and it has no good attack or status-inducing moves iirc. It's a giant brick and a waste.

needs work but still messing with IV's and just throwing out possible teams (like swapping the tyranatar out for a speed boost pokemon then baton pass it out)

This is going to sound generic, but you have no true special sweeping, and Mega Gengar serves that purpose pretty well along with trapping after you've Mega Evolved it.

I just wouldn't try to switch out on anything with Pursuit and you'd normally be ok, the only fear I can think of is an unweakened TTar.

Well, I know that I'm not running Pursuit on my TTar at the moment, but I'm probably going to end up making a Scarfitar after Pokebank is out. I use TTar for other purposes at the moment.

the only problem i can see from a Gengar is it running Focus blast, not to scared of an energy ball
