I'd recommend B2/W2 just for the move tutor. If I remember correctly, B/W didn't have one.
If I remember right, once you beat the E4 you got a KI that would allow you to change the game to Hard mode. Would raise the level of E4's Pokes (maybe more than just the E4, not sure), as well as changing some of their Pokes around and making them have a smarter AI. Was Black 2 only, though. White 2 got Easy mode.
Yeah part of the reason I was thinking about it was so I would have access to the pokes/moves from that gen. Are the stories in Black 2 and White 2 not basically the same? I feel like it would be more interesting to play through Black and Black 2 since the stories are different/build off of each other.
I've been thinking about this too based on how they might end up doing billing. I'm guessing it'll be handled on the GF end of things and probably tied to your Trainer ID but who knows.
Edit: they've also given an example of losing game or 3DS I think and yet still being able to get your Pokemans from bank.
After getting stars in each battle mode in each restaurant, I kinda never want to enter one of them ever again. I am a Grand Duchess so the black challenge dealy is +20 levels to those lvl45 or 55 audinos for some crazy exp action.
I tried playing BW2 recently and it was only weird because it was stretched on the 3ds. On the DS it really isn't that bad.
I'm guessing the Bank will be tied to your Nintendo Network ID. You have to create one on the WiiU, and I thought I heard they were expanding it to the 3DS as well.
I looked around for it, but just wanted to be sure: can Mawile learn Bullet Punch? If not, then boooooooooo.
So there I was, having fun making a bunch of Eevees for an eevee team, have a 6IV Bold for Vaporeon, 6IV Timid for Jolteon, 2 5IV Modest for Sylveon and Glaceon, and then suddenly I stopped feeling like playing Pokemon at all... just a big ole massive crash. Though maybe it had something to do with all the hacking and glitch stuff that's started to become prevalent and the poke bank opening up soon.
Going Taunt/Swords Dance/Play Rough/Sucker Punch on my Mawile fyi. Taunt to get something like a wall stuck on an attacking move that won't do shit so I can SD and proceed to lol their team for the most part.
The only scary thing (as far as possible common things go) I can think of for a Mega Mawile is a Choice Band EQ from Tyranitar. I think without Intimidate that it'd one-shot. Sucker Punch would barely put a dent in TTar and it's faster than Maw.
Still trying to think of solid counters besides status shit.
