    Again, not sure if news:
Heracross and Galvantula allegedly have Megavolution stones too.
Weather changing abilities (Drought, Drizzle, Snow Warning etc) only last 5 turns now instead of permanently.

    Allegedly/Rumoured/Grains of salt abound.

I REALLY hope Gardevoir has a megastone. That would make this game even more of an insta-buy than it already is.

Oh, and... I guess we gave up on spoiler warning spoiler stuff.

Follow up to my previous post, Pokemon bank is in fact the only way to transfer pokemon from gen 5 games.

    http://www.pokemonxy.com/en-us/strat...emon_bank_faq/

I'll probably be playing older games leading up to Dec. 27 just for the sake of pokedex completion.

I napped for a while. Here's what happened while I slept. again grains of salt:
    [spoiler]
    Goomy -> Sliggoo -> Goodra
Skrelp -> Dragalgae? Name isn't official, but it evolves.
Trevenant is the name of the Ghost/Grass tree looking fucker we saw and the evolution of Phantump.
Pumpakboo -> Gourgeist (alternate forms of final evo)
Honedge -> Doublade -> Aegislash (alternate forms of final evo)
    Bergmite -> Avalugg
    Binacle -> Barbaracle
    Clauncer -> Clawitzer
Flabebe -> Floette? -> Florges? ; looks like there's two pokemon related to Flabebe maybe M/F evolutions
Inkay evolves when leveling up and the 3DS is upside down
There's a new type of weather: Electric-based, lol
Steel no longer resists Ghost or Dark-type moves instead being neutral
I've heard there's something like 90 new pokemon and 450 total in the Kalos Dex (which is split into 3 regional dexs at 150 mons each)

It's interesting that the normal-rodent pokemon has a normal/ground typing and the generic bird has a fire/flying when both are fully evolved obvi.

pics if you're lazy of some stuff:
    Spoiler: show

Any info on Aegislash's alternate forms? I'm hoping one of them is a speed form.. c'mon speed form!

Also, looks like Pumpkaboo does have a third evolution -- wanna see what the non-small size version is.

Just seems to be a blade forme and a shield forme.

Other random stuff which again may or may not be true:
There is a ghost-type Soak move called Trick-or-Treat.
Certain pokemon (unknown which) evolve only when leveled up in the Rain. Rumoured to be Clawncher/Skrelp
Oblivion Wing (Y Legendary's signature move) is 80 BP, 100 acc flying-type and restores your HP by half of the damage dealt. Worth noting Yveltal appears to have a decent atk/sp atk and bulk.
Goomy/Honedge's final evolutions (aegislash, goodra) have either obscenely high level requirements to evolve or required trading or another gimmick
So far it looks like the "version specific" doesn't mean a 100/0 split between versions but a 75/25-- like a pokemon isn't absent in one version just rarer.
Goodra may have the Sap Sipper ability.

Are there still pokemon who only evolve when traded? I've always hated that, especially when it was the pokemon I really wanted that always had the trade evolution

Er I never fixed it but have heard 7th gym is Psychic and neither Ghost nor Poison as previously thought.

Phantom Force is a ghost-type Dig.
Snubbull is pure Fairy (I think this was known though)

-Spiky Shield: A protect that deals damage if the opponent used a physical move.
    -Mystical Fire: A Fire-type Snarl - lowers opponent's Sp.Atk.
-Water Shuriken. Water-type, multi-hit priority move.
-Power-Up Punch: Fighting move, 40 Power, increases Attack by one stage 100% of the time.
-Flying Press: Fighting, 80 Power, the move is a dual type move - both Fighting and Flying.
-Play Nice: Seems to be a Growl clone.
-Crafty Shield: Fairy move, protects from status moves.
    -Infestation: A Bug-type Fire Spin.
-Forest's Curse: Turns the target's type into Grass.
-Venom Drench: Lowers Sp.Atk and Speed of a Poisoned Pokemon.
    -Trick-or-Treat: Adds Ghost-type to target.
-Oblivion Wing is Flying, Special, 80 Power 100 Accuracy. Restores HP by 'over half' of the damage dealt.
    -You can have facial hair.

Something like 45 pokedex slots still unfilled.

Goodra is now the last evolving pokemon known to mankind (barring any more discoveries). It evolves at Lv70.
    Spoiler: show

There is the small possibility it's a happiness evo and follows in the footsteps of Zubat's family line.

God i really hated the dream world in gen 5. I was hoping they'd have abandoned it for something that didn't totally suck ass.

Doublade -> Aegislash via Dusk Stone, lol

    Spoiler: show
Good call on the relearner! Delphox gets Future Sight(lol), Role Play, Switcheroo, and Shadow Ball.

Aegislash... er, sorry to say I don't quite remember what moves I've had him learn and turn down over the levels, so here's everything.

Fury Cutter, Pursuit, Shadow Sneak, Slash, Iron Defense, Night Slash, Power Trick, Head Smash, Aerial Ace, and King's Shield.

King's Shield has the user take a defensive stance while protecting itself from damage. Harshly lowers the Attack of the attacker who makes direct contact

King's Shield is likely the move which swaps Aegislash's forme BUT WHO KNOWS maybe any direct attack will make it Blade Forme and any indirect move will be Shield Forme?
Oh here's the leaker's explanation of Aegislash's formes:
    Spoiler: show
Aegislash starts the battle in Shield Forme. It seems he changes to Blade Forme when you use an attack that deals damage, and back to Blade Forme when you use something like King's Shield. Here's what I've observed:

Battle start, Aegislash in Shield Forme.
    I select King's Shield.
Aegislash uses King's Shield, stays in Shield Forme.
Enemy attacks. The damage is prevented, and the enemy's Attack harshly falls.

Turn two, Aegislash in Shield Forme.
    I select Iron Head.
Enemy attacks, Aegislash takes damage normally.
Aegislash turns to Blade Forme and uses Iron Head.

Turn three, Aegislash in Blade Forme.
    I select Swords Dance.
Enemy attacks, Aegislash takes damage normally.
Aegislash stays in Blade Forme and uses Swords Dance.

Turn four, Aegislash in Blade Forme.
    I select King's Shield.
Aegislash turns to Shield Forme, uses King's Shield.
Enemy attacks. The damage is prevented, and the enemy's Attack harshly falls.

    Confirmation of a Noivern pre-evo
    Spoiler: show

Any of you guys picking up your game in person? Does it still feel weird to be judged by the cashier when you buy the game?
