So I do think I'll be picking this and a new 3DS up...

But as someone who skipped B/W but had a full EV trained group for metagame back on HG/SS. What has changed that I should be worried about? Main thing I've gathered so far is that Lucario is not as effective as he once was (as my anti-lead), and some moves may not be as powerful. I guess I'll also have to adjust to whatever advantages Fairy type will have once their weakness is discovered.

Fairy is weak against Steel and Poison, is resistant against Bug, Dark and Fighting while being completely immune to Dragon moves.

other pokes no, but honestly.. I'm sure at some point I'll be able to get trade overs assuming the wi-fi on the 3ds/pokemon isn't ass. gonna be picking up my 3DS here Monday, bought it from a friend who picked up an XL.. and get Mario Kart later on in the week since that + pokemon are all I'll need lol

Me and the girlfriend are doing what we did last time- we each get one and trade as needed for version-exclusive Pokemon/trade evos/etc. When she gets bored, I have both to work with.

The remakes were among the best DS games out there. You missed out.
