For the record Steel/Fairy's type coverage baffles me. Weak to Ground/Fire; Neutral to Ghost/Fighting/Electric/Water; Resists everything else and immune to Poison/Dragon.
Well, any Fire-type will scare it out since Fire resists both Fairy & Steel. But man, fucking Klefki.
Fairy type as a whole baffles me and has somehow managed to get me more and more hype considering I was originally planning on skipping this Gen entirely and hanging up my Masterball.
So the birds are added to the end of the coastal kalos dex taking it to 153. Kinda brings up the possibly of other legendaries being present since now we don't know how high each dex goes too.
Two more days. Aww yiss
Mega Gengar still Ghost/Poison but gets Shadow Tag as its ability. It gains roughly approx +20 Def, +40 Sp. Atk, +20 Sp. Def, and +20 Speed to its Base Stats.
You can only Mega once per battle. If your Mega faints it reverts to it's base state. This means you can't revive it + Mega it again.
Malamar learns Superpower whichi s p. nifty since its Contrary ability means the Atk/Def drop after using it turn to positives.
There's a new physical Grass move called "Petal Blizzard" which is 90 BP and 100% acc. Only seen Mega-Venasaur with it so far but I doubt it's unique to him.
Thank you based rocl
if mega tyranatar is true i want it to be at least ground/dark rock/dark always seemed weird to me
For the record I'm just trying to compile what leaks I'm reading here. This isn't my own work.
Sleep counter doesn't reset when switching out anymore.
Weather lasts 5 turns maximum no matter how it's induced. (Bears repeating)
Jury's still out on entry hazard nerfs.
Mat Block: 10 PP, Fighting (Status) Blocks damaging moves against pokemon + allies; does not block status moves. Greninja can learn this move via relearner.
Talonflame can learn Brave Bird and Flare Blitz. This is accessed from the relearner since they're Lv1 moves.
Aurorus gets Freeze Dry at Lv1 (need move relearner). Freeze Dry is Ice (Special) 70 BP 100%acc 20 PP. May freeze the target and is super effective vs Water-types. (Ice moves are normally not very effective vs Water)
Play Rough: 30 PP, Fairy (physical? unsure) 90 BP 90%acc and may lower target's attack.
You cannot Knock Off a held Megastone. So more or less if the pokemon enters the fight with a Megastone it'll have it throughout.
There is an item that resets all EVs.
I think all the Ghosts are really awesome designs, especially Aegislash. He's going to be OP.
So I'm looking Blastoise, Tyrantrum, Aegislash, hmm I dunno. Maybe Delphox? I'd like Alakhazam and Lucario since they've always been such beasts. Too many choices.
won't need Alla if your getting a Delphox
Aegislash's Stance Change ability is too OP tho. Plus it's a fucking possessed sword
You get a Ralts w/ Gardevoirite early post game. (lol)
Hurricane BP reduced to 110 from 120. Blizzard, Fire Blast, and Thunder received the same treatment.
Frost Breath BP boosted to 60 from 40. (This is especially nifty since Frost Breath is a guaranteed crit)
Mega Gardevoir's ability is Pixilate (Turns normal-type moves into fairy-type)
Mega Gardevoir's stat spread is 68/85/65/165/135/100; that's an increase of +0/20/0/40/20/20
Haunter is still my all time favorite Ghost design.
Got my Shiny Giratinas today, and in the process finally got around to making a game on my White 2 version. Maybe I'll even play it. Decided not to pre-order either version; I don't like Gamestop anymore and am still unsure of which version I want. So I'm going to wait and see, and have it delivered to my house when I decide. Fuck the outside world!
Picked mine up over the weekend and then promptly retired my copy of White. First game since Gen 2 that I really went overboard when it came to filling my Pokedex -- ended with just under 500 pokemon owned. Can't wait to pick up X Saturday morning~
