2-4 player? Could you do 4 person double battles?
2-4 player? Could you do 4 person double battles?
i think you could do that in b/w, maybe even as far back as the GBA games. remember, the GBA connector cable had that connector in the middle that let you play w/up to 4 people. and then they added the wireless adapter.
Mega Gengar still gives me feels. The nostalgia of using a link cable in elementary school to evolve a Haunter....
Was it ever said if you can transfer a mega evo from X into Y and it look the same?
I got to start playing tonight, but only for about 2 hours since I have to share the 3DS with my daughter until we get a second one ^^; Planning to get another 3DS tomorrow once our local store starts their DS trade-in program where they are taking old DS Lite or DSi systems for $30 credit towards a new 3DS or 3DS XL; doesn't matter if it's broken, which ours is.
One of the best things I'm liking so far is getting exp even when you catch a Pokemon, not only when you kill them. I also love the various patterns of the Vivillon moth/butterfly Pokemon; here's all the ones found so far: http://imgur.com/a/0Qt5N My own evolved into a Continental pattern, but the Gym leader was using a Meadow pattern one, so it's entirely possible that more than 1 pattern is available in each region.
spoiler for huge
Spoiler: show
England has had there copies released a day early so i'll be picking mine up soon
@MaachaQ : Wow, that's..so amazing O.O Can have some truly different looking pokes for once!
More stuff from Serebii. Mega Pinsir, Bannette and Heracross.
Pinser is X is exclusive and Heracross is Y. So happy I'm getting Y. Mewtwo Ys god stats, Heracross, Tyranitar and Cloyster. Only issue is somehow acquiring Tyranite.
Pinsir and Heracross? Wheres the mega fucking Scyther?
Also sucks, I'd want Heracross over Pinsir >_<
Oh god Mega Alazhazam is a thing. We are all gonna die

Good deal, then. I was pretty much talking the whole enchilada from I -> V/VI there. Poor Charizard's gotten it harsh, while the other two starters found niches they didn't do badly in.
There's also rumours from leakers that Entry Hazards have been nerfed from 12.5% neutral dmg -> 10%. Though on the unconfirmed he said she said leak malarkey there's also that weather lasts 5 rounds base no matter how it's initiated (be it Sunny Day or Drought, shit is 5 turns and it's out; also you cannot refresh the duration by using Sunny Day again)
Exactly. Stealth Rock was what made weak-to-Rock a serious penalty in Gen V, and if it's nerfed, that might make a difference. One more day to get it proven one way or another, of course. And if weather IS turn-limited, you'd hope that items that extend the moves like Sunny Day would be given the same effect on abilities like Drought.
Anyone know if club nintendo is doing the pre-purchase survey things?

If Mega Gyr is like that, it gets a whole boatload of weaknesses and not much to gain, other than Electric going to x2 instead of x4. Including losing Fighting resistance for x2 damage instead. Poor thing.
Edit: Also, in notable news: The "big three" of Fire Blast/Blizzard/Thunder are now power 110, and Hidden Power drops to 60. Gonna be tougher using HP for coverage & the weather teams are a bit less bitey.
