Is ice beam a tech you can buy or is there only one per game?

Just beat the Elite Four on my JPN cart. Trading my pokemon around so I can Ditto farm. Dunno what my Fire zone's 3rd is.
It'll be a few days before I can get to helping people here. I promised the people who gave me their FC a ton of specific Dittos caught in luxury balls.

Annnnd Fletchinder. Hidden Ability: Gale Winds. Wow. My JPN actually has a great third.

Welp, time to get serious. Need to make myself a weakener for catching, and figure out a decently wellrounded team. So far I'm somewhat settled on Mega Gardevoir, Tyrantrum, Aegislash, Blaziken, Protean Greninja and... dunno. This is all pre-adding up strengths/weaknesses and shit though so we'll see. Hate being new at this, will take ages

Ffffff... Hate my life already trying to catch these Dittos. They are fucking monsters, eating up all these balls. I hope they choke on them and die.
On that note, I'm working on making a Smeargle-Pokemon catcher tomorrow. Thinking... False Swipe + Spore + Thunder Wave.
Also going to look for some derpy pokemon that can learn 3~4 useless moves to have as a front for the Dittos. Like a Growl, Tail Whip, etc. :/ Imposter Ditto wrecked face when I was unprepared on my first attempt.

I found out today that Caterpies actually learn Bug Bite at level 15 as well. I never knew this.

Lastly, I apparently accidentally added an Eevee safari. Dunno when, dunno who this person is, but I am grateful.

Also, if you want JPN Dittos, PM me with what kind you want. Please limit it to one kind of Ditto. If you don't care and just want any kind, you'll probably get one quickly, fyi.
PMing because we don't need to clog this thread up with people wanting Dittos. I'll bring it up later if I stop having a line.

Edit: Tohmane, if you want a pokemon for capture, investigate the Smeargle pokemon. The best thing you can do is this (opinion):
1) Raise a pokemon that has an ability that you want to learn or TM teach a pokemon, make sure you don't care about this pokemon.
2) Go to the Move Deleter and delete all other moves besides that one.
3) Encounter Ditto.
4) Swap in your pokemon that you want to have the move copied.
5) Ditto Transforms, learns that ability.
6) Swap to Smeargle.
7) Learn the move.

Most of the moves you'd want to learn anyways is harmless.
False Swipe will never kill you, Spore (best sleep move) works on everything besides Grass Pokemon 2.0x capture increase, Thunder Wave (best paralyze) works on everything besides Electric 1.5x capture increase.

Teach those to a Smeargle and just profit off of it for capturing.

Fourth is whatever you want. I end up Thief because I like multi-use pokemon. You can do something else to be a weakener.

Oh hmm another question, for EVs, does it really matter what you put the last 4 in if there's really only two you want to put 252 in? My Tyrantrum for example where attack and speed are the no brainers. In what other stat would a measly 4 EVs help the most? HP/def/sp.def are the "relevant" ones obviously. I'm thinking w/e floats your boat really.

I'm not saying you shouldn't play. By all means. I'm saying you don't even need remotely close natures and EVs/IVs to beat the game. The AI is dumb enough that so long as you know typing, you're good.

Now, if you want to go one step beyond, and start fighting people, then you need to breed, and the whole shebang. But it's not a small step.
