Gonna add the rest of the people I haven't added yet when I get back from work today.

Also, am I the only one who sucks at the Amie mini-games? I can't get 5 stars on any of the unlimited ones at all. I got it once on the berry picker, but only once, otherwise I always lose around 90, and my reaction time for the yarnball is just absolutely terrible.

I need to actually think of a team now. Probably for doubles because singles just revolves around swapping in and out and is annoying as shit.

Sorry Nitsuki. I was trapped on the couch, not near the iPad or phone to check BG boards. If anyone ever needs to evolve a mon through trade just start a trade with the pokemon in it with me. My card is Rob, should be easy enough to remember. I'll get what you're trying to do.

EDIT: Also, 11:30 into the game with only 1 badge. I think it's time to just progress and put off getting pokemon with natures I want until the E4 is dead.

Just entered Glittering Cave and my love for this franchise on 3DS is reaffirmed. I didn't think it could get better, but this is the first time in the history of pokemon that I think I have actually enjoyed stepping into a cave lmao.

iirc Nintendo uses Double Battles for most tournaments

I'm partial to rotation battles myself, fucking love the shit out of them in BW2

Oh god. I just discovered something that has changed my life forever.
Going to Organize Boxes in the PC Box is far superior than Withdraw and Deposit. Why the hell would they even add Withdraw and Deposit when Move does it both so much better!?

Yeah move has been like that since at least gen 3. No idea why they keep the other 2 options.

When you start trying to be competitive though, a person who picked up a random pokemon vs one who has been crafted for this is more evident.

I had already explained to everyone that doing all this effort is really not required for the game as you can take the worst Nature and IV/EVs and still roll everyone. I'm a pokemon breeder/hunter. I like collecting one of everything in most games after I beat it and do a full completion run. I have fun catching people pokemon and breeding rare ones as well as shiny hunts. So the only thing I could take out of your original message is that my form of fun is a pointless one. Sorry if I got annoyed but this isn't the first time someone has called me out and said basically I waste time since I don't play competitively.

Puzzle one is easy once you get into the swing of things. I'll stream and save down a recording to explain it later if you'd like. Berry picking, I actually don't stare at the pokemon's wants, I stare at the tree and recognize the colors and move the berries to the pokemon. Yarnball I suck at.

It's been like that for a few gens. I don't know why they don't put Organize at the top at the very least. I get Deposit for those, quick put 'em away but if I was making the list... it would go:

Organize Box
Organize Items
Deposit
then whatever.

FYI for people looking for specific natures for Synchronize pokemon, I'm probably going to have quite a few extra, but wont be able to trade until after I get off work later today. I already have 2 Adamant, so there's at least that.

Oh hmm another question, for EVs, does it really matter what you put the last 4 in if there's really only two you want to put 252 in? My Tyrantrum for example where attack and speed are the no brainers. In what other stat would a measly 4 EVs help the most? HP/def/sp.def are the "relevant" ones obviously. I'm thinking w/e floats your boat really.

To be perfectly honest I never would think 4 EV would ever make or break you.
I always opt for HP rather than def/sp.def if only because, 4 HP will always be good no matter what you pop up against. If you feel though however something will target your DEF or SP. DEF more, probably best to go with that.

and yeah, setting up a Smeargle takes time (like a Blue Mage should) but once you get it built and leveled, it's probably your best pokemon catching buddy. Prior to Smeargle I run with a Butterfree in the story mode. Smeargle after I beat the game and can just power it up quickly.
I believe you get False Swipe, Thief, Thunderwave all from TMs very easily. Can't remember about Spore.

Conveniently the Smeargle I caught learned Thief, its attack isn't awful so I think I'll go with this one. To the Audino farm!

Yeah I know 4 EVs won't make or break anything adding a whopping +1 to that stat at Lv 100, was just questioning my own theories for minmaxing. It's Smearglin' time~

Spore, at least in Gen5 (maybe it was 4) had a very limited selection of who could learn

best bet is a paras/ect or foongus

Anyone seen a Paras (pre level 22)? I know where I can find an Amoonguss at least, leveling it to 62 probably won't be too bad with that exp farm and a lucky egg.

Edit: Forgot to say, thank you Rocl, my brain was stalling on Spore. I remembered it was 100% accuracy like Thunder Wave but I couldn't remember what learned it off the top of my head. :X

I've only seen a Paras in a Friend Safari when it comes to XY. Doesn't seem to be a BG member judging by google docs. So no, no pre-22.

No worries then! I think I have a good idea anyways, I need to level my Smeargle anyways so I'll just have it chill collecting exp while Amoonguss does all the work.

In other exciting news, manako's FC is a Normal-type safari. No dittos yet but the 3rd slot is a mystery. Not a member yet of the BG friend code exchange doc. :3

I've been trying not to be a pest but I was tempted to start sending messages. I've been looking at that since last night. I get excited when I see a friend code with Normal types. It would be good to have someone who would potentially never delete me. The other people promised to keep me forever but I'd rather it be someone from BG who I can trust.

Edit: not that I'm stalking, hi manako. :D
