Welp, time to get serious. Need to make myself a weakener for catching, and figure out a decently wellrounded team. So far I'm somewhat settled on Mega Gardevoir, Tyrantrum, Aegislash, Blaziken, Protean Greninja and... dunno. This is all pre-adding up strengths/weaknesses and shit though so we'll see. Hate being new at this, will take ages

FYI for people looking for specific natures for Synchronize pokemon, I'm probably going to have quite a few extra, but wont be able to trade until after I get off work later today. I already have 2 Adamant, so there's at least that.

I'd like an Adamant if possible. I don't have much in my box other than some crappy nature Riolus though. Been trying to get an Adamant Riolu with no luck.

Anyone have any female Gible or evolutions with rough skin? Friend with the safari is rarely online. I mainly have an adamant Japanese Gabite or some dittos.

It's useful in some cases simply to tiebreak on Speed when it's normally a mirror-match, or to get a Pokemon above a HP point so it can spam just one more Substitute than it could before.

Anyone have a comparison between hone claws buff and swords dance buff?

Hone Claws is a +1 to Accuracy, +1 to Attack. Sword Dance is a +2 to Attack. For example, you'd probably want to Hone Claws a Stone Edge to get rid of most of it's whiff chances, while a 100% accuracy move benefits better from Sword Dance.

Seems to work like this. I haven't tested, I'm up to my arms in other shit but this is what the breeding community is resulting:

Baby 1:
Parent A has 6 IVs to choose from. Game decides to pick 2 from here.
Parent B has 6 IVs to choose from. Game decides to pick 3 from here.

Baby 2:
Parent A has 6 IVs to choose from. Game decides to pick 1 from here.
Parent B has 6 IVs to choose from. Game decides to pick 4 from here.

Baby 3:
Parent A has 6 IVs to choose from. Game decides to pick 5 from here.
Parent B has 6 IVs to choose from. Game decides to pick 0 from here.

Doesn't matter which has Destiny Knot. Super excited. This means finding a Perfect Ditto of any Nature would be worth its weight in gold.

Edit: Of course you'd want to Everstone the Nature. So if you have a perfect Ditto you'd want to Destiny Knot that one and make sure you breed until you get the right nature on the baby. Then keep recycling until you got your desired product.

But if you have a 2 perfect IV pokemon and another 2 perfect IV pokemon of different IVs, you could breed until you got close to the result too. Keep going with this and replacing the lower IVs until you got your final products.

Additionally if you have the power items... well, they're useful still too for boosting. You can do that instead of what I said right above and save yourself some trouble. Once you start mixing with 4+ perfect IVs though the Destiny Knot is the tits.

Anyways, just think of the odds of getting the Perfect IV you desire as being ?/12 whenever you use the Destiny Knot. The more Perfect IVs you have, the higher that ? goes up. Now getting all 6? It'll be a challenge but not impossible.

A more sure thing than just breeding and hoping.

I play Y and she plays X, both Korean version, but I play in English and she plays in Korean; we'll likely both use this system from time to time. My sister back in the states has bought both of the NA version games for me and will be sending them soon, so I'm including the code for my NA 3DS here as well. I've got B2 and W2 in the NA version and plan to trade some things up once the trade box thing goes live.

I'm not very far along because I was trying to soft reset and get my Tyrunt as a shiny, but after 3 days of it I was fed up and got a female with Adamant nature. My daughter just got her Tyrunt and I borrowed it and put them in the daycare and will be breeding some babies to try for a shiny that way (my daughter's having a [KOR] stamp on him should give a higher chance of shiny hatchlings). Both of us should be playing a fair bit tomorrow, hopefully we can catch up so our safaris will be worthwhile.
