God damnit. I was done and halftime and then they brought me back in. First game I've picked right this weekend, and it's the game I cared the most about. Sigh. You think Pete Carroll wants to go back and kick that FG when it was 4th and 1 on the 15 in the second quarter?

Sadly, some things never change. I posted this on 12/4:

SEA defense at home is giving up 13.8 points per game; on the road it's 19.5. As one of the six people on the planet who actually watches almost every Seahawks game, their 4th quarter/crunch time defense has been pretty abysmal in their last three road games (Detroit, Miami, Chicago). They blew fourth quarter leads in all of those; the defensive breakdown at the end of the Chicago game was monumental. I have every confidence that if the Bears won that overtime coin toss, they would have won the game.*

And that 4th quarter defense in road games is why I didn't think they would go to the Super Bowl. At some point, their defense was going to have an opportunity to blow the game, and they did. And sure enough.
