Has anyone started playing this since it went f2p ?
Do you think it's any better now than it was at release?
I've been playing for about a week now it's fun I think for free, but I feel like they want to force you to spend money on the overly expensive store coins just to get by.

It's a shit game with a ton of issues that have never been ironed out. It was an interesting concept but there has been almost no support for the game. I'm honestly shocked people are still playing.

Trion has announced Defiance 2050. It will be a sequel of sorts. It will have the original version remastered, reimagined, and rebuilt from the ground up, plus added whole new content.

The game’s systems have gotten major improvements to create the definitive version of the game. Today’s consoles and PCs enable the dev team to implement features and upgrades that fans of the game have been clamouring for, while advancements in hardware allow for action on an even larger scale than before, with more players able to take to the battlefield in white-knuckled combat.

It will launch this summer for PC, PS4, and Xbox one, and will be F2P with a cash shop.
