Anyone know if pet damage factors in to damage totals at the end of runs? I can finally outdamage non-rogues but this fucking damage discrepancy is insane.
Literally the most unbalanced MMO I've played, Rogue makes every other class look like a PUP.

I was afk 90% of that run too and paying negative attention
Its not unbalanced.. does everything only have to do with dps? Also yes I do agree rogue is kinda crazy when it comes to pure dps but thats all it does. At later levels I have heard some rogues crying when they are soloing maps, that its too hard. 58 atm.
you can pad number pretty easily as rogue, ie. if you line the mob up, you can cleave with the supposed single target move. You can do it with other classes too though, heck I was owning the meter with cleric by scumbagging and pretty much using my charges only for AOE.
I just did the dungeon try harding it up and only did 225k. THF's still do pretty much double the damage over other classes. Also all bosses are immune to every single CC/control spell I have, on bosses all I can do is spam DPS. Fair? No, not at all.
You're level 58? Do bosses stop being tank and spank, where all they do is randomly teleport and cleave? So far that's been every boss 1-24. I'm incredibly bored, this entire game is a face roll joke. Nothing is difficult in the slightest, it's all incredibly easy and I turn my brain off and afk the entire time I play. Does this ever change?
Some are still tank and spank some are not. I think the amount of adds you start to get later on makes CC really important, expecially when you cant just use your daily and get rid of them quickly.
I know there was this one boss that summoned a bunch of adds, if you didnt get rid of them quickly and keep them away it would absorb them and regain almost all hp.
Adds is not difficulty, especially when they hit for 0 damage and apparently clerics seem to have infinite mana. It doesn't even take long to kill them...it's like GW2 where everything does nothing but tank you for a decade and have no actual mechanics.
I don't see how "omg kill adds" is difficult, that sounds even more boring. I'm just incredibly bored of this game already, it's difficulty needs to increase by like 10fold or something because at this point there's no reason to play unless you're REALLY bad at video games or somehow find it fun to mindlessly spam 4 buttons on everything. My level 20 skills were all complete garbage and zero fun too..yay.
And if you aoe more than 6 targets, you pretty much get your charges back and then some and not to mention insane AP gain. By the time your cooldowns are up, you already have 3 charges again.
I dunno, I feel like its a 50/50 chance I either beat rogues or they beat me

Spoiler: show
I don't remember XI being all that exciting and powerful at lvl 20 either. Plus the PvP sucked ass. Therefore XI is shit.
But I've noticed a definite curve in difficulty 30+ in NWO on GreatWarriorBarb despite me finally getting some useful skills and decent gear. But in a good way since its evolved from mashing skills and chugging pots to being able to clear wide swaths with minimal downtime.
I had fun in FFXI starting at level1. The game slows down a bit 8-10 but once you ding 10 and go to valkurm for the first time the fun explodes all over your face. Good video games start at level 1, not "omg play for 60 hours then it gets fun" or the level cap. Bad video games start at the level cap, a good video game should always start at level1 and progressively get better and better the higher level you get. GW2 is fun starting at level1. This game doesn't stop being boring by level 20.
Your idea of fun is valkurm?
One needs to realize that you can never have that first time feeling ever again. create new exciting experiences. Live and learn. If you keep looking back at that first time joy as a measure, you gonna miss alot of good stuff in front of you.
Nah, I have infinite fun for days and days when I play good games. I used to think it was being young and playing my first MMO, it's not. I played GW2, loved it to death, played it for 6 months straight, no other game the entire time, had fun every time I played it. I do this with single player games too, I'll have so much fun playing them for days, sometimes weeks, until I eventually get bored. A bad game like neverwinter? I'll hate it by level20, because it's a BAD game.
It has nothing to do with nostalgia or "first time feeling, all that matters if the game is good or not. I still enjoy good games for long periods of time, bad games I don't.
Seeing as how all of your qualifications for Neverwinter being bad have all been retarded personal anecdotes and personal preference, I really don't think you're capable of making that judgement. You want the game to be something it's not, I get that. I wanted Dishonored to have better stealth aspects. We don't always get what we want but doesn't diminish the fact that Dishonored and Neverwinter are actually decent games.
Could Neverwinter use a bit more tweaking? Absolutely, but it's fucking beta for fuck's sake and you make such wild judgements with very little basis that it's really hard to take you seriously.
It just keeps getting better...

http://i.imgur.com/NkZYusx.jpg?1<-proofJust thought I'd let everyone know about this. After 3 days of farming lvl 60 epic dungeons I finally got enough (4) Enchantment Shards to make a special enchantment, Lightning I believe. These are not the same as the regular stat Enchants, they have special abilities which aren't listed, I assume, until you fuse them.
Well, I go to fuse my 4 Shard of Lightning Enchantment only to discover there is a whopping 1% rate of success. So, essentially, unless you buy a magical insta fuse stone for US Dollars, there is basically no way to get an enchant.
I've got probably 10 different kinds of these enchantments filling up my valuable bag slots and none of them is worth a lick unless I fork over $$ to fuse them.
I'm not hoisting the P2W flag just for this particular issue, but that doesn't mean it isn't a very undesirable issue that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
It's worth noting that after you fuse 4 shards into a lesser enchantment, 4 of those fuse into a regular one, and 4 regulars fuse into a greater. All told, you need 21 coalescent wards to get a greater. That's looking at $210 for enough wards for 1 enchantment.
Yea thats kinda lame lol, you can also use tarmalune bars to buy them, but ofc that comes from lockboxes LOL
