Perfect World, ladies and gents. Anyone with experience with them knew this was coming. Enjoy the game for what it is, but don't expect anything beyond leveling-content with your buddies.

Astral Diamonds seem fairly easy to get, so it's not that big of a deal to turn them into ZEN, the exchange rates are kind of ass right now but it could get better over time.
It's not the end of the world.
Can also get the wards that guarantee success from the 7day celestial coin chest.
Fun, I'm stuck at a boss that is giving everyone trouble lol
I recall some boss, that took like.. dam near 40min to kill (wtf is up with that), also it knocked one of our people about 50 feet into the air....
Spoiler: show
also, I've seem some of the weirdest glitches, like the pet, doing some herp derp bouncing around when its trying to attack something below me, and its pathing leads it off a cliff, so it starts bouncing around in mid air trying to attack it. And to add a bit more to the randomness... 3 control mages with repel = fun tossing mobs around (I think we tossed one mob about 3 rooms down), I would hate to play a melee...
level 60 dungeon squid brain boss. We had to call it quits for now.
How easy would it be to get some respectable gear if I just grinded from mid 20 to near cap in Foundry EXP grind quests? I wanna see if PvP balances out at all and from what I'm hearing PvE encounters don't get good until then either.
So overall this is worth checking out? Kinda turned off because of PW's shenanigans with their games.
TLDR: No.http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/sho...ut-your-wallet
Just thought I'd let everyone know about this. After 3 days of farming lvl 60 epic dungeons I finally got enough (4) Enchantment Shards to make a special enchantment, Lightning I believe. These are not the same as the regular stat Enchants, they have special abilities which aren't listed, I assume, until you fuse them.
Well, I go to fuse my 4 Shard of Lightning Enchantment only to discover there is a whopping 1% rate of success. So, essentially, unless you buy a magical insta fuse stone for US Dollars, there is basically no way to get an enchant.
I've got probably 10 different kinds of these enchantments filling up my valuable bag slots and none of them is worth a lick unless I fork over $$ to fuse them.
I'm not hoisting the P2W flag just for this particular issue, but that doesn't mean it isn't a very undesirable issue that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

It's worth noting that after you fuse 4 shards into a lesser enchantment, 4 of those fuse into a regular one, and 4 regulars fuse into a greater. All told, you need 21 coalescent wards to get a greater. That's looking at $210 for enough wards for 1 enchantment.
It's hilarious you can pay $60 for a "founder's package" and not even get the amount of "free stuff" you got in GW2. You're basically buy to playing at that point, you are giving them the admission fee, you are paying $60 for the game, the cost of a brand new video game. You don't get 5+ char slots for free, you still have to pay, you don't get all your bags buyable in game, you still need to pay IRL money, you don't get free respecs buyable with in game gold, you still need to pay. You're paying $60 for a shiny title and cosmetics - that is the most insanely anti-consumer, shady thing I've ever seen.
You should be getting 5+ char slots for free, access to a VIP vendor that allows you to pay gold for respecs(scaling to char level), gold for bags, a few more bank slots for free and priority queues , and a few more things off this VIP founder only vendor that shouldn't cost money to someone who paid $60 for a game.
It's insane.
I don't think it'll hold your interest for too long but you've played far worse. Just avoid Great Weapon Fighter if you want to PvP at all.
Playing with wizard as cleric is hella fun. Wizard pulls everything in and I just blow them all to kingdom come.

That's the best screenshot I've ever seen.
I'm 44 now and the solo dungeons have rampted right up in difficulty as Rogue, it's cool. I need a better healer companion thoughThe one you get free caps at rank 15 and the difficulty solo dungeons and instance end bosses are at my level, she either cannot keep up or just dies from boss abilities or being sniped by archer mobs.
Also holy shit at the difficulty of the end bosses in this game, especially the higher level instances..That dragon and the grey wolf guy are fucking insane haha. You definitely need a full party of competent players to win but kudos to them cause they really feel "bossy" if you know what I mean? lol. It's a shame it's not really worth your time/effort because the drops get replaced fast but I guess it's more to prepare you for epic dungeons later on. I never actually beat them because I keep getting paired up without a healer or people that just can't dodge shit. But early days and all that shit, still an excellently polished game considering its age.
Except it's a Cryptic game, Not PerfectWorld.
whats an publisher
Mad Dragon was lots of fun. Surprisingly tough for a level 30 dungeon. Looking forward to the epic mode.
can't even get this game to launch. client crashes every time i hit "login".
edit: Apparently it's teamviewer that causes this. Closed that and got in.
