Another question for you guys:
So i was looking at gwf builds again, and stat priority. It seemed that people go Power>Crit>Recovery>Armor Pen, in both Destroyer and Instigator builds. Going from what Kiarax said, gwf doesn't really need armor pen from items?
And speaking of that, I'm obviously low level not even 30 yet. I have some 400ish armor pen right now and that equates to 4% armor penetration on the character sheet. Same thing with movement and critical, are the values per interval of these stats really that small? like, equipping a rank 3 rune for critical is 60 critical, which equates into something insignificant like 0.6% critical rate. I understand the concept of stacking stats to make them count, but it seems like you need some large amounts of 1 stat on every piece of armor you're wearing to make it noticeable. Is this the case at high levels? That you may as well focus on 1 offensive stat in ever piece of equipment to expect results?
Well I'm 26 and up for a challenge.
Should be fun. If I can find a partner I'll go that route.
Since they nerfed mob exp in Foundry the motivation to do them has dropped to nil unless I see some outstanding DM campaign.
Normal foundry missions still give the same XP.
Missions designed for getting 2 levels in <15m are giving reduced XP.
At least that's the word from the devs.
Also, there is a topic about respec costing zen on the OF and my initial impression of this game having a very XI-like community is dead on.
In real D&D you can't respec at all unless you reroll so you're lucky there is even an option period.
I've not played 4th Edition at all, but I feel safe saying gameplay wise, this game has very little in common with D&D. So I don't think that excuse holds up.
The only respec that costs IRL money is something you'd have to be literally retarded to fuck up.
they've said 4th
not that i know or give a fuck
Whatevs, the only real similar thing to DnD are the names of shit and races anyways,
Since Shiyo is the guildleader of the bg people does that make her an admin for neverwinter if it becomes more popular or is that only for people of a truly terrible scale such as everyone else
Why are my stats in PVP completely fucked in the 49 bracket? The tooltip for ice knife outside says 3,600, but inside it says 1,600. Chill strike says 1400 outside, but only does 600 inside(tooltip).
I was looking at my combat log, another wizard(49 cap, i'm level 48 so only leveling me up once) was doing 9500 ice knifes and 2550 chill strikes. Meanwhile mine are actually hitting players for 1200 ice knifes and 400 chill strikes.
Am I bugged or what is going on?
2 hour+ skirmish/dungeon queues and my PVP stats being completely fucked(me and kiarax literally could not deal any damage to anyone in PVP and they did infinite damage to us and we were only being scaled up 1 fucking level) killed my entire motivation to play this game for the day ._.
My friend keeps saying that too, can't wait for XIV to be shit because they're a terrible fucking company.
