Only in WVW. Was so confusing weird how fighting at the big castle place thingy in WVW would lag the entire map , and it was weird as hell lag. Hitting your buttons wouldn't just delay them, they just wouldn't go off like you never hit the button at all.

Also what the fuck are these pieces of shit doing with the INFINITE money I see them recieving? I see "XXX HAS RECIEVED PAY TO WIN MOUNT #3060630" every 2 seconds in my chat log, literally infinite money. What are they doing with it? Apparently not buying servers from this century.

Kiara does double or triple the damage of other GWF's in dungeons we do so you're playing with bads. You also posted screenshots of you on rogue sub-30, which is pointless. Rogue is OP as hell until 30, and dungeons below 30 are complete face roll. After 30, GWF becomes a beast, and CW gets a lot more damage as well.

i dunno i'm 42 and i've yet to lose on rogue

i expect it every time but the closest i've come is 1.9 mil to 1.7 vs. a GWF

sounds like some bad rogues but then again i'm not max yet so there's a lot to be seen lol

Yeah its usually me (CW) or a rogue on top dps at Lv 58ish instance and our damage is like in the 5-6mil ranges at times
(I pretty much have to use all the dps pots and hardcore aoe though to even stay up there ;/ )

Rogues still get highest DPS, the gap is dungeon dependent though.

GWF should be 2nd or 3rd and not too far behind the rogue.

Without any real DPS numbers, it's hard to really say, but if WMS+Slam do 800+500 and WMS hits 7 and Slam hits the room: You can probably safely assume that you are doing 1300 damage to 10 targets every second. This is 780,000 damage if maintained for a full minute. This is obviously increased by probably 30% when you have Unstoppable up. I say 30% because WMS isn't always hitting targets because of the root and because of the need to swap camera angles constantly to better position your swings. If Sure Strike was 100% stronger, the class would be balanced I think. Right now I think my damage tooltip on SS is 571 max and it's single target. That's terrible. Our job is adds but that only applies when there are 100 of them. If we're fighting 3 champion mobs with no adds, we are worthless as all fuck.

TR can do 65k every 10s if they crit, and that's just from 1 encounter. (Or, 650,000 damage) Then they have other encounters, their daily, and their AA.

The flip side is that GWF is the tank insomuch as they run in first and get the mobs and hit unstoppable. Slam is also pretty good threat for large rooms it's more like GWF/DC tank than anything else.

tl;dr u wrong, gwf needs a big fix on its at-will and probably some encounter buffs as well. I think the at-will buff would be enough simply because unstoppable makes at-will very strong.

It's really hard to gauge classes with pubbies because almost everyone is shit. Damage numbers are pretty easy to pad a lot of the time and are generally completely meaningless. On add heavy fights I'm basically always #1, but I don't feel like I'm doing more for the group than Shiyo on CW because she's completely locking down cunty mobs that can ultimately give the party more grief than the lesser adds I'm plowing through. I don't generally SS DPS charts at the end so I don't have any of runs we did with rogues, but just an example of the disparity between myself and another GWF... this guy was actually doing okay compared to the ones we usually get and I still basically doubled him. Was only halfway through a run but regardless.

As always though, it varies from encounter to encounter. That dragon skirmish Gulk posted a video of is a great example of minimal adds. A TR should steamroll everyone in a fight like that. Even then I'd occasionally outdamage them though. I'm not delusional enough to think my class is better, I just realize the players are shit. Shiyo wants to do Cleric next so I'll prob go TR and embarrass other Rogues damage just like I do GWF.

Edit: I think Slam is capped on amount of targets it can hit Church. Not all AoE's are but pretty sure Slam is.

usually when CW get close it's because they're slinging shit around the arena and making it more difficult to get to, especially when my build revolves around sitting on duelist which tends to miss if the mob moves too much

Yeah I had a CW spamming his knockbacks everytime they were up and I told him "please don't use knockbacks they make it take longer and make everything harder" then he outdamaged me by like 100k(i did 1m he did like 1.1m or something) and talked shit "Knockbacks arent the least of your problems, dont try to give advice until you can debuff mobs for everyone AND top damage" Like..what the fuck? LOL I wasn't aware this was a competition and griefing everyone was a good idea by using the ice knockback daily on cooldown.

Yeah as I said, easy to pad scores by ignoring what you should be doing and instead trying to go for wherever you can get the highest numbers. Pubbies with CW are the fucking worst, always tossing mobs away for no fucking reason. I lost count of the amount of times Shiyo would pull everything together with black hole only for some shitty CW to do the ice AoE daily and send them all over the room again. Fuck you.

not using that like crazy, I only use it for a few situations such as about to die, getting mobs off healer, otherwise its ice knife. I'm using the conduit of ice on large packs with the -15% mitigation buff , then the line of lightning thing for damage buff + then the tossing exploding ice bomb thing (forgot what its called but it freezes the main target, damages rest near it), and all that with the lightning proc class feature (procs off dots too). Using a high power/high crit and decent armor pen build.

Not sure why everyone thinks high damage CW = they are tossing everything everywhere, stuff goes outside of range of the CW too (and moving for a CW is dps loss), when you get a damage buff to your encounter spells (if you spec into it) if your within 20m

A rogue was hitting me for 9k+ from stealth, I went from 100% to 10% off a stealth opener at one point. I >>CANNOT PVP<< with these stats.

Why is this not being mentioned by the masses?
