Windows 8? cus my wife's pc has w8 and it crashes all the time. Try running in compatibility mode. Also make sure he has update graphics drivers.

everything hits for 5k and comes in waves of 4-6 on hotenow

thankfully I'm done there and am in the whispering caverns

If he's using displayfusion or one of the four programs known to cause problems with the launcher you will get that error. Since it's a laptop it might not be displayfusion. I'll try to find the link.

randomly, rogue damage goes insane at lv 40+ I soorta want to get the perma stealth spec just for the rape it can do...

Yeah perma stealth is the only remotely fun way to play in dungeons/skirmishes so far. This class is mad boring compared to GWF so far, but PvP is okay. Shame it turns in to a one shot fest at 50+ because actual drawn out fights where skill maters made 19 cap a blast. Also the glorious lack of P2W mounts endlessly zerging points was nice. Too bad it's all downhill from here.

From what I've heard one of the 4 set bonuses is broken. It's supposed to be +450 def on you and -450 on enemy or something, but the result is you shitting out infinite damage, even being able to 1 or 2 shot epic bosses.

No one seems to play this game. 2+ hours queues for every dungeon level 20-60. Fucking insane.

I've been convinced since day 1 that the Queues are not working properly.

Combined with everybody playing DPS and not as many Clerics and you get shit like that.

Ques work, don't forget when you lvl, you have a chance to get booted out of que, so you should check every time you level. (also no one is really on after like 10pm cst, que's are like 5-15min around 3:30pm cst -> 7pm cst)

As for clerics, I've had a group with 3 of them, but pretty much when I see one (or more) they like to sit and complain about the obscene amount of aggro they get casting a single heal. I remember some cleric going near mount speed with the movement speed buff running around the wolf boss dragging all the shadow wolves with him.... was kind of funny to watch.

Because they wont spend their points on -threat. There's like -35% or so in their tree. I never see a tank though. At any level.

Since I have lv60 I never do random dungeon anymore, it just suck too much. Everytime I get group, I friend whoever is doing awesome, and just build my friend list. And now I just run with whoever is on my friendlist, it's pretty solid way to gear up and progress.

Randomly, loving rogue at higher lvl's... the amount of damage it can output is just insane... 30 range 30-45K crit near 50% chance at Lv 50? np
Been keeping up gear just buying the cheap 10-150ish astral shard gear from auction house when needed, it makes me sad I can kill a group + an elite or 2 in almost 1/4th the time with daily compared to my CW ;/ (and already doing near or over 2mil damage in dungeons constantly)

Might as well have fun raping stuff while its not nerfed...!

As strong as it is single target I get so bored playing it compared to my GWF. Fighting large groups of mobs on it feels like a chore compared to plowing through everything all at once. Did some T2 epics today and I realllly don't think I'll enjoy them on rogue. But at least it means I can go full PvP spec without worry. Bigger numbers aside do you find the higher level skills more fun? I imagine the feat that reduces CD on encounters will make it more enjoyable but the actual encounter skills just sound... meh.

Rogue looks incredibly boring to play.
