Am I confused or is this retarded? I'm looking at my leatherworking tasks and I can cure 2 pelts in 10 minutes to make 2 leathers, or I can cure 10 pelts in 6 hours to make 8 leathers, which makes absolutely no sense.

for making AD and gold, I usually just sell T2/T3 items, T1 items sell usually for 20k-50k AD or if you're lucky 3-5 gold. I sell T2 for 20-30 gold and T3 for couple million AD. Zen just convert from AD. Now I just exclusively do Castle Never with my group, but the dungeon delve chest on castle never drops random T1/T2 so I just make that as my gold source.
You're probably looking at Simple Pelt curing which is a pretty bad deal unless you're doing purely to process while afk for several hours. At level 14 however you can cure 2 Exotic Pelts for 20 exp in 20 mins OR you can cure 10 Pelts into 8 Leather for 800 exp in eight hours (and save 6 Moonsea Salts).
for ghostwheel and anyone that needed it.Spoiler: show
So after maxing on your T2 armor what else is there to do? I purposely slowed down on playing after completing a T1 set for my Cleric realizing T2 looks basically the same and is relatively easy to get also.

If they ever release the supposed 10 man raid, it's gonna be fun as hell.
They posted about the state of the game and what's coming next couple days ago:

The only things that are interesting:
As always, you can keep an eye on our latest changes in the Patch Notes. We’ve made a lot of progress and still have a long way to go. Here’s a short list of some of the top things our team has been working on lately — things we hope to have updates on very soon:
- Network performance and overall connection stability
- Queue system issues (wait times, teleportation issues, group composition)
- Party Loot issues (better allowing players to win the items they legitimately need)
- Making gear progression feel more visually and mechanically meaningful
- Improving the PvP system to better reward participation
- Aggro and threat balancing
- Auction house bug fixes and UI improvements
- Monitoring the economy to ensure that appropriate actions are taken to remove any remaining illegitimately gained currency and items
====================
I’d also like to talk about class balance. Like any online game, class balance is a huge discussion, both internally and externally. We are definitely hearing this feedback and watching the evolution of PvE and PvP strategies in an effort to help bring everything into alignment. Right now there are a handful of powers and feats that still have bugs associated with them, so we’re working on getting those issues ironed out first. Once we’re able to make sure everything is working properly, our next step will be to start diving into the balance feedback, and do our best to not only make things fair, but also ensure that all of the classes are fun to play in every aspect of the game, from solo play, to group PvE content, to PvP.
Of course, fixing issues isn’t the only thing we’re doing. We’ve got a lot of new content in the works that we definitely feel will take Neverwinter to the next level. Right now, we’re putting the final touches on some new end game content: Gauntlgrym. It will be our first raid-sized, competitive PvP/PvE experience, and our current goal is to release it to OBT within a few weeks. On top of that, we’ve also got new companions, zones, mounts, mechanics, Paragon Paths, and a new class. I can’t share the details about the new class just yet, but as a hint, it’s going to be a “ranged” one. So, while our engineers, testers, and other team members are addressing maintenance, upkeep, bugs, and network issues, our content creators and artists are working on lots of new things for the game.
Hoping to get there eventually but it almost.. "almost" seems like the dam only way to get there is to have a group made of basically semi decent players and... 2-3 priests with 2-3 rogues. I thought it was kind of hilarious to sit and face tank a boss, and only get hit for about 2K-4K and be instantly healed while the healers just kinda stood still being mauled by 10+ mobs and not even breaking a sweat... ლ(ಠ.ಠლ)
my group consisted of 2 cleric 2 wizards 1 rogue, we've been doing over 20 castle runs clears, I guess 2 rogue 1 wiz works too but less safe IMO. Our best timed run for Castle Never was 54 minutes clear, with 6 minutes on dracolich. In a lot of cases, the trash is actually harder than boss, we very rarely wipe, but when we do it's almost always on trash.
The thing about Castle Never, you will always need a wizard or 2 so you don't get raped by adds, especially on long boss fights.
My fastest group (yes I do T1 because T2 is near impossible with randoms) is 2 clerics, 2 rogues and 1 CW. The CW was pretty good (he got his daily up and going probably every 5 seconds, he was literally spamming the wormhole on 6+ pack of mobs), and the other rogue actually almost sort of kept up damage with me which was nice, cleared throne of idris is about 20-25min. We were both execution spec, so we could keep bleeds up on bosses, they basically melted from bleed dot in under a min except for the last boss which was probably close.
(I've yet to meet a GWF that can compete remotely close to the damage a bleed can do on mobs/bosses... bleed probably can do more then they can do per swing per 2 seconds)
yup very doable indeed, but it's the difference between a 50 minutes run and 2 1/2 hour one if you get unlucky.
I've pretty much stopped after a week of trying, now I just do T1 delv's. even the ice giant one seemingly looked likt it was going to go well, no deaths, did most the instance within like 30-35min excluding the nonstop spawning of trolls, but the last boss pretty much face rolled the group ;/
Start T2 with Pirate Kings, it's the easiest of the bunch. After you get some gears, then start doing the next thing. IMO the easiest>hardest T2 is:
1. Pirate Kings (Tier 2 Offhand) - #2 best farmable T2 for entry level.
2. Frozen Heart (Tier 2 Boots) - All bosses except the end one drops garbage. Avoid after you get your T2 boots.
3. Spellplague (Tier 2 Helm) - #1 best farmable T2 once you get a solid group going. It drops T2 head piece, one of the most expensive T2 piece you can have. Can greed roll to sell on AH once you have your piece, it's a really good money maker.
4. Karrundax (Tier 2 Gloves)
5. Spider Lair (Tier 2 Chest) - used to be very easy, but they fixed the glitch on last boss
6. Dread Vault (Tier 2 Weapons) ---- Not really worth doing unless you're into the RP shit, it's really hard and takes unnecessary long time to clear, drops T2 weapons but you might as well skip it and go straight to Castle Never at this point.
Frozen Heart is actually really easy, your healer have to kite all the trolls and golems while healing, and others just focus on boss and archers while dodging his attacks. It's really simple as that. I put spellplague above karrundax because in spellplague there are plenty of cliffs and lava to throw the mobs into, making it much easier to deal with.
Also don't fuss too much about Neck/Rings/Belt, if you get them while you farm your T2 sets, good, if not, castle never pretty much spews out free rings/necks/belts.
Yeah just did dread vault normal jsut to see what its like it all goes by quick cept the last boss, yogg saron sucks pretty much >.> Especially when you have 2 CW's, that have.. a really hard time tossing mobs of the side.
Also I ahvne't met too many priests, that can move + heal at the same time, either its really hard concept or not easily done with the class, or both. I plan to buy 2 account slots after I get my cat because... cat > alts
Loving this so far, it's everything I was hoping d3 would be![]()
I'm on mindflayer, 37 cleric at the moment, will prob be playing this for a while if anyone wants to friend me, day@goingtojail
