thought his test was flawed, so i went and ice knifed some level 59 mobs
can you guess the damage difference? after 4 mobs, i stopped since i was doing slightly more damage nakkid -_- wtf?
same drow level 59 mob, first strike only

full geared 6942, 6888, 7127, 7427 with no gear 7109, 7069, 7091, 7149
maybe ice knife isnt modified by power, but eyeballing the rest of my abilities while trying to get action points, i noticed no differences...

hmmm for a TR, it seems noticeable. I had a hell of a time keeping up with a TR that was like 8000ish power, 3900ish crit vs my 3,200ish power 4100ish crit.
Not sure what build he was though either, but I'm execution spec, so crit and recovery is more important somewhat O_o

Randomly, even though powder doesn't scale very much, because of execution specs crit severity it does a ton to shcoking execution (for execution spec especially). 3000 attack is like difference of 35,000-55.000 at 5-10% (whatever a bosses last block of hp is) hp to like 55,000-85,000 ish range.
They need to fix the hitboxes/collision detection on the fucking dragon mobs...
I just did the black dragon skirmish in the pirate area and holy fuck I was getting pushed like 20 feet out from invisible walls whenever it would turn. On top of that you can only fucking hit the dragons if you're directly in front of them or you're attacking the side of their neck.
KILL THE FUCKING MYSTICS. I hate that skirmish, fucking noobs just leave the trappers and mystics running around and I'm running all over the place trying to heal and the fucking things are healing the dragon and trappers jerking you all over the place. Is the whole rest of the game like this lol?
p. much, if you're running with pugs. Though after you get astral shield, you pretty much tell people where to go, if they dont stand inside the shield, they'll most likely die.
Yup, especially when you get people that don't speak english. Also those mystics are basically impossible to kill if their ontop of each other, unless you got some amazing CC chain stunning/knocking/dazing them both to death somehow (and at the same time crazy dps).

I noticed Zen prices dip to the 200's range one day , and also now... rank 5 enchant prices are going super low...
You'd think it would go up with duping and AD stuff removed... but nope, its tanking hard. (the yellow ones especially, dropped to near 15K each)
Was #1 in everything in a skirmish lolgf. Only lvl 32 though sooo... Everyone else was pretty derp.
Yeah people are terrible, I joined that dragon skirmish as they got to the end boss. The top damage at the time had like a 500k lead or so. We ended it and I was at 1mil, and he was at 1.1mil. Also at the trappers/mystics, we only had 4 people and I wasn't paying attention to adds, I was just on the dragon the entire time, everybody else was on the adds. They kept them away from me so I guess they were doing their job somewhat right.
That has nothing to do with Neverwinter but Neverwinter Nights 2 =/ Different game.

Duelist's Flurry: Credit for the bleed damage is now properly attributed if multiple Rogues apply stacks.
Big one there... kinda sucked with gimpy people taking all the damage from you ;/

The "Need" button is now disabled for items your class cannot use.
So gauntlgrym part 3 is basically 20 man raid?
Couple of things to clarify on the Astral Shield nerf.
-No stacking 2 shield (meh whatever, if you're running 1 cleric)
-Shield heals now counts as Heal over time - Now it is actually counted by righteousness, where as before it's regeneration and it doesnt affected by righteousness
-Shorter duration, it is now only last 10 seconds, you may get maybe 80% uptime if you stack recovery.
On the brighter side, Astral Shield is not dispellable anymore.
But as they're saying, they're also fixing threat, so it's not so bad. I'm sure people wont die because they dont have shield for 3 seconds. Especially with tank. The only downer is I like to actually compare my number with other clerics when doing 2 cleric runs, I guess I'll have my fill of epeen stroking on gauntlgrym.
I am impressed by these patch notes. The entire community clinging to 2 clerics and exploiting as much as possible drove me from this game. Might have to try it again sooner than I expected.
If by "exploiting" you mean wizard/cleric pushing mob off a ledge, PW already stated that it is actually a legit strat because players can be pushed off a ledge too.
