What the hell is up with Razer? All meh shit am breakingz

So middle mouse button on my razer naga molten started going out last month, now it barely even functions correctly. The scroll works fine but the button doesn't register 8/10 clicks usually. Called up Razer and they sent me an email saying "oh update your drivers firmware" even though I had told them I updated everything so I humored them and wiped my drivers and did the whole process again, didn't work obviously, called them up and they sent me ANOTHER RMA form just like the one I filled our previously so calling them up again today to get a goddamn RMA sent to me so I can send the mouse back.

Now my headphones (razer orca) are acting up all of a sudden. They have been working just fine since I got them in july 2011, never bent the cord or got it stuck in anything but suddenly all my sound is getting fucked up and coming in quiet/not at all or glitching from left to right headpiece. Sadly I can't even get a RMA on these because it's only a 1year warranty.

Kind of getting annoyed at these products, ive had shitty microsoft peripherals last me longer then this. Anyone know what I can do about the headphones?

Yeah i'm noticing that now, are there any decent quality headphones at Target? Got a $60 giftcard for there and I have nothing else to really use it on.

Death Adder is the only mouse I've ever owned from Razer and they seem to last 3 or so years before they start malfunctioning in one way or another. I think that's pretty acceptable imo. My Blackwidow Ultimate has been good to me also but I have read horror stories. The worst experience I ever had with Razer was when they were first producing headsets. My first one broke in 2 or 3 weeks, my replacement in a week. Thankfully I got a full refund and never bought another headset from them again.

That said, I do want to try another brand of mechanical keyboard in the future. It's hard to judge how good of a keyboard this is without trying any others.

I've only owned my death adder/black widow for a year and a half but have had absolutely no problems with them. I have heard horror stories though :/

Was never any real reason to go Razer unless you wanted a Naga, now logitech has their version.

I've owned one Razer product, their Lycosa keyboard. It was a piece of crap, and I've never considered buying their products since.

Ordered the creative labs Fatality headset, all the reviews were decent. It's not top of the line by any means but I just want a basic gaming headset that I can listen to music on and that doesn't shit itself after a year.

I started out using logitech devices for years... moved to Razer because "gaming" oriented, and had the same problems I read from everyone else. Mamba, lachesis, 2 nagas, and blackwidow all broke just a little over a year of normal use. Went back to logitech for mice with the G500 and haven't looked back. My original MX518 is still being used by someone 5 years later with no problems.

I've had my Razer Naga MMO Mouse for 3 years...

and my Black Widow Mechanical KB for just over 18 months. I've had zero issues with either of them.

getting close to 1 year with my naga. Bought it for Tera last year during beta and its had daily use since then in Tera and random FPSs.
