Story

The story focuses on the trials of Chrom, the prince of the Holy Kingdom of Ylisse, and his companions during a turbulent era. When the neighbouring nation of Plegia starts acting suspiciously, Chrom commands his band of soldiers--the Shepherds--to keep his country at peace. Soon, he encounters an unholy force plaguing the lands and a masked swordsman claiming to be the Hero-King of legends.

It's already out in Canada apparently. The Canadian EB chain got permission to release as soon as they had it in inventory.

I pre-ordered the bundle from GS and they said my CC wouldn't be charged until they processed the order and was about to ship. Well my CC got charged yesterday though my order is still listed as "Open" and not "in process" or anything so I emailed them asking if they were shipping early, still waiting on a response back, but here's hoping!

Of course, I got the company line, but one thing I'm unsure of...is "street date" considered the same thing as "release date"? If so does that mean they're shipping Sunday night for people to get on Monday (can they even ship on a Sunday)? Or would they ship on Monday with people getting on Tuesday?

games are meant to be delivered to the address of the buyer for day 1 release we all know its possible to get a game a week early or a week late due to w/e

Well Gamestop just "confirmed" that I should get it on the 4th. I just wasn't sure if there was a difference between street and release date. And yeah, obviously there could be random issues along the way, like UPS truck blows up as it's 5 miles from my house...

Hopefully no one was too looking forward to getting their hands on this today. Went to pick it up from GameStop this morning, and according to an internal memo that apparently made the rounds last night, most stores won't be getting it until sometime between 2/04 and 2/26. Apparently there was some snafu on Nintendo's end, and just a lot of bullshit. Mildly annoyed that they didn't contact any preorders about it and I ended up driving through the snow just to waste my time.
