Demi-humans, what can you do?
Still though, fucking Kellam!Nah is just a physical wall once you pop the right set of skill (Renewal, Pavise, All Stats+2, Dual Guard+) and if you go one step further by making a Kellam!Nah!Morgan, you'd end up with a bulky Manakete that you can throw Ignis and Galeforce onto and laugh your ass off as you burninate the field with Dragonstone+
The Chrom + Avatar bromance is grating as shit.
Either sleep with him Chrom, or get out of his face.
Okay, this game is making me want to throw the 3DS out the the window.
I started a normal game after getting my ass handed to me on hard because I'm not familiar with the FE series, but it's gotten to the point of it being ridiculously easy, so I started a game on hard again, all fine and dandy so far at chapter 4, but I want to level some units a bit because they're being left behind... and I just fucking can't for the life of me, they're too weak for anything, the moment I switch to them they die because they can't handle being hit twice and do 1-5 damage with lousy accuracy, I tried fighting the spotpass groups but they're too strong for level 1-4 units plus you don't get money from them (so you'll end up without weapons and no money if you grind too much on them), and boxes are 4800 instead of 500, so that's out too.
How am I supposed to level lvl 1-4 units? the more I advance - the stronger the enemies get - the harder it'll become to level them, pairing them up with another unit barely gets them exp... If I keep going like this I'll end up stuck with the same units for the rest of the game. It's very aggravating and frustrating
tl;dr How do I grind low level units on hard?
Tried Lunatic + Classic, trying to not lose anyone. I am stuck on like the 3rd fight, hahaha.
Hold off on leveling the low people till the DLC area's open up to u, if you get the right DLC pack, i forget the name of it right now, has a map with lots of enemies that wont openly attack unless you attack first and they give pretty good xp. There are also different tiers of enemies too, so lower level characters and higher level characters can both get xp
Aren't DLC areas inaccessible until you're quite a bit into the game? I don't think I can access them yet on my normal game and I'm at the 12th chapter.
EDIT: Nvm, was confusing them with SpotPass maps, looks like DLC was free for a limited time :/
I can't find anything about grinding levels without the DLC, so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to build up supports/leveling on hard... there goes my desire to play this game, playing the entire thing without being able to build supports the way I want to takes away the fun aspect to it.
You lean really heavy on Frederick early on. On chapter 5 or so you can unlock EXPonential growth and it just takes off from there.
Yeah, I'm not having any problem doing the chapters themselves, but looks like you're forced into buying the map if you want to level up low level units or build supports in a certain way because there's no way to do so in an efficient manner (ie: I have Miriel at level 1, she's going to be totally useless for the rest of the playthrough), you're actually stuck with the same 10-12 units on hard/lunatic unless you buy EXPonential Growth, which is kinda lame.
Necro-ish bump...
Just picked this up today. I'm a pretty seasoned Fire Emblem player. How tough is Lunatic right out of the gate?
This was my first Fire Emblem game, but I've played similar style games like FF Tactics and Disgaea. I played 20 hours on Normal until realizing it was too easy and restarting. I got annihilated on the first level on lunatic, lol. Hard is a nice balance of difficulty without being too frustrating.
Nah it's available from the start.
I'm a total fire emblem noob. I've leveled up one character into like a dragoon but he's useless now. What weapons can he use? I usually just partner him up because he's useless but it's gonna end up leaving him behind in level. Also what DLC is the best level for grinding?
Lon'qu? He's pretty good later on in the game. He doesn't get a lot of jobs for good abilities though. Keep him a sword master or a wyvern lord. Thieves can use swords.
I changed him back to a myriamid. He's decent damage and avoids a lot for where I'm at in the game. My franklin or Francis or whatever his name is, turned him to a paladin and he was a tank but he's started to fall behind a bit. Takes damage and doesn't really have a way to regain it without popping potions.
lunatic is insanely hard for first timer, dare I say impossible. In the beginning, if you leveled your characters wrong, aka only lvl 1 character and faceroll, you wont be able to continue.
