Yeah, I called up the company and asked about my pre-order and they told me it's now on "back order". I pre-ordered 2 weeks ago, there's no excuse for not either updating the people who pre-ordered or not making sure you have enough stock to fill the pre-orders, I mean, isn't that the whole point of ordering early? -_-;.

The system bundle was dated for 2/04, the game was originally dated for 2/03, Nintendo always releases big titles on Sundays. Either way, most locations aren't going to have them in tomorrow, and the street date apparently no longer exists.

Yeah, I know but the game had be listed as 02/04 for some time now.

It seemed odd to me as well but I would guess they didn't want to do a game release on the Super Bowl or something

It's apparently the result of some massive production error, weren't really any specifics to go off of other than the whole thing seems to be fucked at the moment.

Basically: The physical copies are somewhat fucked in being released on it's release date. Yes the download will be up, but not going to the store and getting it. Amazon will also be having possible delays too.

I didn't preorder. I was going to preorder this weekend or late last week, but the delay message on amazon put me off. I'm thinking of getting the digital copy. Any down side to it besides the fact that you don't have a physical copy?

I figure in the far future if something happens I should be able to pirate it by then anyway. I just want to play.

Fire Emblem games seem to be worth a lot, even for used. The one for GameCube is going for 80 on Amazon.

Only game I ever sold after a few days of playing was Monster Hunter (something) on PSP. Terrible game.

I'm only like 3 chapters in, so I can't really say this with 100% certainty, but I'm comfortable saying it.

This is. The. BEST. Fire Emblem. EVER. Now THIS is how a series is supposed to progress! Everyone else, take a fucking hint!

This game is like, it takes the best parts of every fire emblem, and merges it together. Support conversations are similar to the GBA, funny, entertaining, and character developing. Best part is, there's no limits on supports (as far as I know), so you can get A support with everyone! You only get one S (marriage) support per character, though, which is perfectly fine.

Looking forward to playing the fucking shit out of this game. :D

edit: Graphic style is great compared to the lackluster and imo terrible battle animations from the previous DS games. I don't know if I'd rank it higher than the GBA games yet, but it is VERY competitive. The critical hit animations so far have been rather lackluster, though.

This will be, somewhat shamefully, my first Fire Emblem game. I knew I bought my 3DS for a reason.

I was forced to wait when I went on bought it last week. Canada was only allowed to sell it for a single day before they got the red card email. Can't wait till tomorrow judging by everyones posts. I love these games.
