The Vault 4 episode i found to be very funny.
Just finished, fucking hell give me season 2 right now
Wife couldn't understand why the line in episode 3 where the ghoul says "Rule #1 of the wasteland, you always get sidetracked by some bullshit" made me literally belly laugh.
Ah, part of the 100 hours in, never been to Diamond City club I see. lol
Edit: Another settlement needs your help.
I'm having a blast with this show. It's so much fun. Saving 6-8 for tomorrow.
I watched the first two episodes of the show with my mom last night. She, not even being aware of the game, seemed to enjoy the first two episodes. I enjoyed them too, a little more as I knew how good the show looked, the music choices being present in the games, and other things she wouldn't pick up on not being familiar with the games.
I like it so far, It really does nail the look and feel of Fallout, and again as a person who doesn't even know what the game is, my mom liked it too, so while if you know Fallout you'll enjoy it more, you don't need to know fallout to enjoy it as a Sci-fi-ish show.
Found out this show was out 8am yesterday. Watched 6 episodes at work that day, 1 at home that night, then the last episode this morning before work. Overall it was solid, but I do have some gripes. Mostly it’s all the inconsistencies that happened to advance the plot.

I've never played a Fallout game (not sure how many there are); will I still be able to enjoy this?
While we're at it, what about "The Last of Us"? Same deal.
i've never played a fallout game and i'm enjoying the show. there are obviously little easter eggs and shit that you'll miss but nothing that is important to the overall plot. i never played either TLOU either and enjoyed the show greatly
Man, what an excellent show. Stuck the landing too. I fully admit I expected this show to be absolute garbage. Very pleasantly surprised.
I noticed so many shared music tracks between this and Better Call Saul lol
As I posted above, my mom whos never played a game in her life, let alone Fallout, has watched (now) the first 4 episodes with me and is enjoying it. I think you'll pick up on some things a little quicker having played the games, but its not at all necessary for enjoying it. Heck, knowing the game lore might even spoil a bit of the twists, I'm on episode 4 and I can already see a twist coming(can't confirm haven't watched the whole season yet) in relation Vault Tec because well, I know Fallout lore, but even my mom is piecing it together.
Really fantastic show! Full spoilers:Spoiler: show
finished, not exactly high falutin art but a ton of fun, nailed the aesthetic, writing did well enough (Westwordly with all the tweests and multiple timelines but they aren't pointlessly convoluted and actually work here) and everyone acted out. said by many but indeed the best Fallout output since New Vegas.
As a Fallout games fan I honestly didn't have high hopes for this show, but they certainly managed to make an overall solid adaptation. I rarely binge any show, but I managed to finish all episodes in two days because of how fun and engaging it was.
I never played The Last of Us and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I only felt the last episode was a bit of a stretch, but I thought that was another overall solid show.
ella purnell and walton goggins carried the living hell out of this show, goggins especially. enjoyed it, i liked the finale quite a bit too. i just could not get over how...weird maximus's actor was. i like the character idea and arc, but some of his line deliveries and mannerisms were just so fucking bizarre lol.
Ella Purnell was actually my favorite actor on the show but Goggins was great too, especially straddling the multiple timelines and very different personalities in them.
Maximus was kind've the odd man out but given he's basically a traumatized child soldier raised in a feudal theocracy who is uncertain what an erection is, or possibly even a synth switcheroo, makes sense his emoting is weird as shit. also refreshing to see a pure himbo out in the world, that man is dumb as a rock.
